Even when "Naturally" went top 10, music channels still hardly played it, and I remember Capital playing it only twice.

 

But, I've seen "Who Says" on TV the most. Channels like The Box, Starz and Chart Show TV played that quite a lot. I've only seen "Love You Like a Love Song" once on Starz TV. Hopefully Disney Channel start playing the video. That was the only reason why "Naturally" went top 10. They played it as much as they possibly could! :lol:

I hope it reaches at least top 40, it's quite catchy song :)

But the actual song. Bearing in mind I'd just been listening to Blind Faith, so whatever song I play afterward tends to sound worse than it actually is, I thought it was good. Quite cute. :lol: Better than Friday anyway. I especially liked the bridge bit. It's not that good, but better than some of the songs currently in out top 40 anyway.

In all seriousness though, I think one of the sounds in Party Rock Anthem is similar to one in Tainted Love.

 

Also, I read somewhere that the melody to Sexy Chick by Daivd Guetta/Akon was based off Tainted Love.

 

EDIT: Maybe the sounds that come in the song at 1:02, 1:05, 1:09, etc.

People who contribute to Wikipedia seem to have trouble telling the difference between 'samples' and 'sounds a little bit like'.

^ It probably only properly counts as a sample if they credit it (like in the album booklet, for example).

 

But it is practically the same sound. But it's probably been used in loads of songs before. Maybe it's even a preset, in which case you don't need to sample it. :lol:

I really like his album Online though. Heard so many different sounds only in Rihanna's Loud. Kind of a demo album perhaps... Though the vocals' record quality is quite bad.

Hopefully the Chilli's can kep climbing up to the Top 10. I've just downloaded it.

 

Hopefully sales won't be too high this week as it's a quiet one for new releases so it'll officially go Top 10 on Sunday.

 

Like a previous poster says the chart needs some movement, especially the Top 10. Pitbull's ben there for long enough now, and possibly Example too. The songs get boring when their so high for so long.

Super Bass at #12 & #146! I hope it gets top 10 when the Now 79 version is also released!
