Don't think any of these are anything special at all, having watched all the final performances on YouTube tonight.

 

Melanie is evidently the best, but she's really nothing special, and her rendition of 'Listen' had nothing on Alexandra's performance (when she did it on her own, not with Beyonce, that would be an unfair comparison).

I haven't followed this at all but I thought I would see the performances from last night. What the f*** is this Chris Rene doing in the final? Not many people can make

But yeah, sob story... He was a drug addict but he was clean for 70 whole days on the day of his audition. And he plays on it majorly for literally ever VT.

Melanie I cant see doing very well, shes not really an artist, shes a 'good' singer but thats about it really. I'm not sure who I want to win, not too fussed.

 

With Chris you could say its the sob story, but you could say same with Melanie as from what i've seen she constantly brings up the fact she was picked on at school. I think the fact chris can be seen as an artist is whats helping him stay there, and possibly win.

Well, it was obvious for me from the moment she went onto the live shows that Melanie would win. And she did. Blah blah, she's boring too.

 

Tbh it was obviously coming but I did love her so I'm really happy!

 

 

 

But is there not a winner's single? I presumed it would be the $5,000,000 songs they performed but they didn't mention it for the whole show, and it's not on US iTunes :unsure: Odd.

. It was nice to have the Rachel Crow moment played out a couple more times too, the true star of the show, still hilarious.

 

 

Really happy that Melanie won, she can really sing so I hope they give her some good material so she can at least have success in America. Wasn't fussed about either of the other two at all.

 

 

It is odd if there isn't a winners single, our version has one, so does the Australian version and of course American Idol. I'd have thought it might have been a studio recording of

Listen, given that's what she performed after the announcement?

Have they been releasing the performances to iTunes like in the UK? Even if it was just a live version..

 

Well thats a predictable winner, i think x factor in the US was a bit of a fail to be completely honest. I can see her doing a Jordin Sparks kind of album, and similar success, but not as big, even though Jordin wasnt that big.

What a mess of a final. Steve Jones was even worse than usual, he 100% won't be back next year. Josh was the best but his final performances were a bit lacklustre otherwise I reckon he woulda won. Why didn't he do Wild horses? Anyway, after a bright start UK X Factor was actually better in the end. Paula and Nicole must go with Steve, horribly pointless judges comments from them.

The one I hope isn't back next year is L.A. Reid --- what a pillock. When Astro was voted out he said America doesn't know anything about music (neither does he or Astro who never sang a note), When Marcus Cantey went he said America doesn't know anything about music. When Chris Rene went last night he said America's got it wrong.

 

What does he know - it's goint to be America buying the music and they voted who they want & they got it right.

Can you stop harping on about the rappers not singing a note its blumming annoying.

Tbh they should just leave Cowell and get rid of the three other judges and replace them with stars. Unfortunately it just matters how good your friendship is with Cowell so Sherzinger will most likely be the only one to go. Mariah Carey would be a good replacement on paper.

I tuned in for the first time to see Alanis on the final, she was divine in every way. The rest was a bit shit :lol:
