The presenter is doing a REALLY bad job there. Just look at his face after he announces the results. I know he was listening to someone through the earpiece but still.

LOL What a train wreck. Very glad I gave up on it after a couple of auditions episodes. It's absolutely abysmal. America also seems to think so also as it's ratings are utterly dire. The Thursday results show is being pummelled by the competition. AI absolutely hammers everything and is the most watched show in America weekly. USXF can't even manage to be most watched show of the night.

Josh must win this, his voice is brilliant. That said, Melanie gave a pretty damn amazing rendition of Feeling Good.

The weakest of the semi finalists has gone. Thank God! B-)

Nicole's performance was... kind of embarrassing. Not really her fault (the sound levels were so bad, you could hardly hear her) but then the song is woefully forgettable too.

Funny how the same show that made her a hit again (her guest appearance on UK XF) has completely destroyed her again and I doubt she'll ever recover. Even me as a huge fan of her music have taken a disliking to her.

Now let Krajcik win, he is the only one who actually SINGS and doesn't make every speech into an inspirational story about drug use or BEING WHO THEY R NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE SAYSES.

Melanie HAS to win. Chris is just awful (I'd rather have Marcus) and Josh (I'm probably the only one with this opinion) is incredibly overrated, he has a good voice but it's nothing to write home about - imo Lee DeWyze and David Cook did it better on Idol. Melanie also has her faults, she's dull at times and a bit predictable, but then again she always pulls it off!

It's a right pain the arse waching a day later because I always find out without wanting to know who has went out. It's clear from Jason's post who went. Destroys the results show unfortunately. Glad he's gone finally.

Fun little ratings update, the semi final results show pulled a 2.8 - tying with a repeat of 'The Big Bang Theory' and being beaten (2.6 to 2.8) when they went head to head...

Melanie is not a likable person but at least she's a marketable popstar. I've only seen a handful of the performances but I did really enjoy her taken on Someone Like You (it was too bloody short mind).

Both were adjusted up to 2.9 in the finals. Still pretty shit but Fox have already renewed it.

Feeling Good was pretty great. Melanie is so unlikable though, every single week... she was talking to LA whilst Simon was still giving his comments! There's diva and then there's MELANIE. What a handful.

Yeah I agree. I definitely want her to win because she's by far the best vocalist and the most viable recording artist (not to mention that Chris is awful and Josh overrated) but as a person she's arguably as unlikeable as Misha B was. For me anyway. But yeah, Feeling Good was a MOMENT, absolutely put all the other performances of the night to shame. Her Hero was really cliche though.
