July 15, 201114 yr I think 2 (remember MMH vs. Happy) but number one seems likely as well. It'll be easier to predict closer to the release date, and it'll be more obvious where it'll chart Edited July 15, 201114 yr by danielMFAO
July 15, 201114 yr If this charts, then this will be the 3rd time a song that samples a Penguin Cafe Orchestra song has reached the top 40. Paddy's Revenge by Steve Mac is based around the track 'Song for a Found Harmonium,' whilst their song 'Telephone and Rubber Band' was sampled and used in a rock song back in 1998. July 15, 201114 yr Happy didn't get to number 1 even with an XF performance, this not even getting one will be a test really - I think its too early to predict atm, video/radio airplay has to kick in first
July 15, 201114 yr Author It is difficult to predict, but just go with gut feeling with a few plays. :P An epic video (hopefully we'll see soon) and no doubt great radio support for our Leona i'm sure it's going to do big things. I'm sure it'll be #1, comeback single, and its so different & bold. Edited July 15, 201114 yr by Karma
July 15, 201114 yr I'm in two minds of whether it'll reach #1 or not. It's growing on me a lot, but it's taken quite a few listens, so it might have the same effect on the public who aren't willing to listen to it 5 times. I ended up going with #2, but it could very well reach the top.
July 15, 201114 yr Listening to 'Collide' right now and it's not as instant as I'd like to have expected. I was hoping it'd be more like 'Happiness' by Alexis Jordan. It's alright on first listen but I'm not raving over this - and I really like Leona Lewis.

Thats why i'm pleased its released to radio & tv before released, its a grower. :) I'm sure of #1, even though I actually dont mind, just so glad to have Leona back! :w00t: Cant wait for the album! I wouldn't be surprised if it charted in the top 5.
July 15, 201114 yr #1 definitely. I think it'll sell around 85k first week, with Pixie going to #2 on 60k and Sugababes clinging onto top 5. I'm loving it so much right now, really hoping for #1 I'm absolutely in love with your signature!!! :o
July 15, 201114 yr Not her best work. Seems a bit dumbed down to me, though maybe it'll grow as ppl have said. Reminds me of the Katy Perry Firework school of song writing so should do well despite that. The usual stupid notion of a "hot" "summer" track - released in the autumn!

July 15, 201114 yr Well I heard this today along with Pixie's new song and I have to say, I thought Pixie's stood out more and is likely to do better. This isnt a bad song but it just didnt grab me in the way I expected. I predict top10 but doubt it will set the charts alight with the same kind of success from her first album.
