Pretty much stale central as per. Glad to see T-Pain top 10 and Flo Rida all the way up to #4 - Good Feeling has also already outpeaked 'Club Can't Handle Me' on the Hot 100 so is his biggest hit since 'Right Round' if I'm not mistaken :D

Taylor Swift #1, #2 and #6. :drama:

It's a shame this happened right now aswell. Looks like Mac Miller could've finally gone top 10 on iTunes otherwize (the past couple of his releases stalled at #11 iirc). :(

Quite a lot of artists have occupied the top 2 on iTunes at the same time though. I remember Blah Blah Blah and Tik Tok did, Airplanes and Nothin' On You did, Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling did (for like 3 months!), Whatever You Like and Live Your Life did apparently, Glee Cast have done it multiple times, Michael Jackson did it, and I imagine Lil Wayne has managed it before aswell.

Can't remember the last time it happened in the UK. But there's be panic if it did happen tbh.

Katy Perry also had two versions of E.T in the top two, and i'm sure Rihanna had Only Girl/What's My Name as well.
Not that I'm not happy to see Taylor Swift back at the top, but I'm a bit miffed that she's pushed most of my top 20 favorites (TOTGA, D(A), NIP, Paradise) out of the top 20, and 5OC and IWR out of the top 10 in one fell swoop. <_<

12. If I Die Young - The Band Perry

15. All Your Life - The Band Perry

I'm guessing they appeared on US X Factor or something similar? I wish IIDY would follow its own advice and die already (although it's now far from young) -_-

EDIT: Actually there are quite a few old-ish country songs that are back high in the chart. Some country-related event?

'Rolling In The Deep' down to #51 but I'm sure it'll be back in the top 40 in a few days.

Last night was the 45th annual country music awards, which averaged just over 16 million viewers over on ABC. Taylor Swift won at least won an award so it's probably helped her songs even more.

That'd explain it.

16 million people with horrendous taste in music awards shows. They can all have all the awards tied, they're all equally shite. Abominable genre of 'music'.

11. Gym Class Heroes - Stereo Hearts 41%

12. T Pain - 5 O'Clock 40.6%

13. Bruno Mars - It Will Rain 40.1%

14. Katy Perry - The One That Got Away 39.2%

Katy has a massive chance of climbing top 10 as it's only a matter of time before Taylor free falls. I don't think The One That Got Away will get to number one though, but it's amazing she's away to get another top 10 hit from Teenage Dream.

why do all Taylor Swift songs sound all the same and why are americans still buying them....?????

in the UK she's a one-hit wonder and that's all she deserves to be....

All her songs (well the ones I've heard) sound the same to me too. Although I'd imagine for fans of her genre they can tell the difference.

Is 'Lights' getting airplay? It seems to have been around in the top 300 for ages! (Well, the Bassnectar remix has anyway, the original version only shows up occasionally).

Lights is getting a small bit of airplay (or rather, it was a few weeks ago) but I didn't think it would be enough to keep it that high on iTunes.

Wow. Rihanna now was 3 songs in the top 10. :drama:

It's funny that Take Care, a Drake album track, seems to be climbing so much faster an actual Rihanna single with airplay.

Interesting to see Avicii's Levels (sampled by Flo Rida in Good Feeling) at #33...
01. Glee - Rumours Has It/ Someone Like You (Totally deserves success, it's amazing)
