I hope the Sats can go to number 1 with leona at 2 and Pixie at Flop haha

I'd prefer:

1. Pixie

2. Saturdays

3 (or lower) Leona - just to piss-off Cowell. :w00t:

I dont understand why people think The sats are contenders? They've never got a number one before and this week there are two other huge contenders. It just seems illogical.

Radio play for Collide has been virtually non existent, its surprising its a contender at all TBH.

I wonder why radio are boycotting it.

Exactly. I think they will be lucky to scrape top 10

Its leona, I think she is contender on name alone at the moment.

Leona Lewis hasn't been someone who can sell on name alone for a few years now.

Maybe not but its not like she is doing that bad that her first single from a new album wouldnt even go top 5.

Looking at Irish iTunes Collide is the only song in the top 10 at the moment with the other 3 (SP, P & TS) all in the 30s. Sometimes its a good indication, but I think UK the other 3 will also definitely be top 10, where in the top 10, i think none of us know at the moment!

See it's funny because their last single (which they released on air/on sale) managed to debut at #8 on no airplay and video rotation (because it was on air/on sale), but on just one performance on BBC1s 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Sure it had a terrible chart run, but it managed to sustain 9wks in the Top 40, with a radio peak of #28, and #18 on video airplay.

Their first week will be front-loaded, but realistically they'll be Top 5 at least if their previous single is anything to go by.

But its only their fanbase that buys their songs, and Notorious was availble on several previews weeks, if not months before its release.

I your attitude Leona who is really talated deserves better than some bitchy comments.

lol the saturdays wont make top 10.

leona has the better song..marginally so music wise leona should go number 1

second album syndrome with pixie i reckon. top 5 hit but the album wont sell on the level her first did.

The Saturdays will get top 10 with no bother whatsoever. The only question is whether they can get top 5 or not.

With 'Notorious' it was mainly only their fans that bought it, because it was On Air/On Sale. More casual buyers will buy AFU than Notorious, as it is being played millions on capital and other radio stations, and has amazing video airplay too, so obviously AFU will recieve more casual buyers. Plus, I think AFU is a more radio friendly song than Notorious, which I loved but it didn't have a big radio friendly chorus.

1) With 'Notorious' it was mainly only their fans that bought it, because it was On Air/On Sale

What has that got to do with anything. How do you know only fans bought it. If the general public liked it, they would buy it. Has nothing to do with On Air/On sale.

Its being getting terrible airplay, capital or not. And the tv play is good, hardly amazing.

I would love the song to do well but it not getting out to the public, I just hope they have good tv promo planned or they will scrape the top 10

With on air, on sale releases, the majority of the sales in the first few days are from the core fanbase of the artist, the people who'd probably buy anything the artist released. Most casual buyers might not know of the song's existance for a few days/weeks.

I think people are saying, if Notorious could go top 10 on mainly fanbase sales, then since All Fired Up has been held back, it's first week sales will be the fanbase sales + a lot casual buyers (this is generally the whole point of holding a song back, to get a lot of sales into one week for a high chart position). The logical conclusion is that All Fired Up will go top 10 aswell. Unless The Saturdays have lost a huge chunk of their fanbase in the past couple of months.

I agree that promotion for All Fired Up could've been better, but I think it's been promoted better than Collide.

#33 - Called Out In The Dark

#44 - Collide

#45 - All About Tonight

and ofcourse Saturdays have their's on pre-order too.

Going to be a close battle in the whole of top 5/top 10!

I don't believe The Saturdays single EP is actually listed as an album or EP which is why it's not in the iTunes album chart?

That's because it isn't an album or EP. It's a single. Which means all the sales will go to the singles chart and it may enter straight into the top 40.

1) I understand your point, but I am talking about the week it peaked, only their fan-base knew of it that week, as it hadn't been recieving airplay for weeks. It later got some casual buyers, but because it was on On Air/On Sale, many radio stations played it for a week or two, saw it was dropping in the charts, and removed it quickly, before Joe Bloggs got to hear it, or even hear it enough to start liking it.

2) The radio play has been miles better than that of 'Collide' and everyone is still expecting that to challange for #1, not just scrape the top 10. Everyone I know seems to know it and everyone I know seems to like it. When 'Nortorious' was released I never even heard anyone I know talk about it or put it as a Facebook status or anything. The video play has been really good, I have seen it on music channels a good few times and I hardly watch them.

I am not expecting it to be a #1, but I would be massively shocked if it didnt go top 5, and if Notorious can get to #8 with only fanbase purchases, then this won't just scrape the top 10.

Leona is doing the best in Ireland at #3, The Sats are #8 and Pixie is #10.

However, The Sats have another version at #90 and the official version of the song hasn't been released yet (it's the Extended Mix that's released).
