July 22, 201114 yr I never saw the appeal in them whatsoever. Most acts I can look back with rose coloured glasses and think 'yeah, that wasn't as bad as I thought actually', but not Busted. At least McFly have Obviously and Star Girl () that I love, my favourite Busted song was What I Go To School For and even that was only a 7/10 at best. Year 3000 annoys me immensely, even if I do know every single word to it - as Mark says, blame crap student nights!
July 22, 201114 yr Very glad Born To Try, The Voice Within and Not Gonna Get Us made it  Shame Love Profusion, Not Me Not I and Can't Nobody missed out though :(
July 22, 201114 yr The success of Busted truly baffled me. At one point they had 2 of the top 5 and the other was just below qualification. But then 'You Said No' got four points from the final 15 sets of votes and it plummeted. I can take 'Year 3000' going through (although it does make me hope their better song can qualify from 2002) because of its cheesy novelty value and it's something I still see loads of people go mental to on shit student nights.'What I Go to School For' is a classic  One of their better songs for sure!
July 23, 201114 yr I never really thought much of Busted but I did think some of their earlier singles were very good. The ones from the second album were the terrible ones in my opinion. Nice to see Rachel through this year aswell, did not expect anything for Javine anyway but it would have been nice to see Sophie get through.
