August 15, 201113 yr This has grown on me, very catchy. I'm utterly amazed at how well it's doing though, neither of them have been relevant for years. :o
August 15, 201113 yr it's great to see that they're both going to be getting a hit over here again after a long run of flops. :D it's also a really good song too. the whistling part is hard to forget.
August 17, 201113 yr I don't think this is anything special. I much prefer Misery and that really underperformed...but I suppose that didn't have The Voice 'effect'.
August 17, 201113 yr This is easily better than either did in their most recent eras. I love it, so catchy and up with each acts best. I've been singing it non stop for days now. :(
August 19, 201113 yr Honestly, I do not get the hate for "Bionic". It is just as strong as "Teenage Dream" or "Born This Way".
August 19, 201113 yr It most certainly is not. It's un-listenable and tuneless. Horrific album. There's a reason her careers in the shitter, and that album is the sole reason.

August 19, 201113 yr Poor Bionic suffered from having some excellent bonus tracks, all of which were left off the main album which is insane considering how long it is in the first place. She's never been one for quality control though. Just because 20 tracks worked on the incredible Stripped does NOT mean that this approach should be taken each time. With the main album and the bonus tracks there was enough material to make a decent 10/11 track album but instead it sounds like all of the demos and offcuts were pushed out as main album tracks when they should have been left on the cutting room floor.

Completely agree with this - my favourite songs on that album are You Lost Me and Lift Me Up. All the bonus tracks are fab (Little Dreamer and I Am (Stripped) especially, but most of the album is dire! She just needs a bit of time and come out with something that is *her*, rather than trying to be like the other artists that are popular at the moment. What I loved about Stripped was that every song was different: she just needs to make Stripped II and she'll be laughing :D
August 19, 201113 yr Oh I rather enjoyed Bionic, cut out the filler and its a very strong album. cut out the filler and you'd end up with an EP, rather than an album. there's that much.
August 19, 201113 yr I think Bionic was brilliant, a good tracklist would've been: Not Myself Tonight WooHoo (ft. Nicki Minaj) Desnudate Glam Lift Me Up I Am You Lost Me Vanity Monday Morning Birds Of Prey Little Dreamer Cut out the real filler and add some of the bonus tracks and you have a decent 11 track album, rather than 18 tracks with only 8 really good ones and 10 that were either just 'good', average or awful.

August 19, 201113 yr Oh god, I forgot Bionic, the best track on it! So I actually mean: Bionic Not Myself Tonight WooHoo (ft. Nicki Minaj) Desnudate Glam Lift Me Up I Am You Lost Me Vanity Monday Morning Birds Of Prey Little Dreamer
August 19, 201113 yr 'Not Myself Tonight' shouldn't even have been allowed to be RECORDED, let alone be track one on an "improved" version of 'Bionic'! :drama:

Rich do you generally listen to Ladytron? I expect gushing given the fact you think so highly of the bonus tracks (which essentially came from their talent and Xtina's RECORDING PROWESS.

I've heard and liked bits and pieces but never sat and listened to an album of theirs, I'll see if I can find them on Spotify in a bit. In fact I've always been meaning to at least download their recent best of...
