Posted July 20, 201113 yr Apparently this is the next UK single according to this Popjustice thread. ^_^ If this is true, then I'm quite happy but I thought a re-release was happening? Edited January 6, 201411 yr by *Tim
July 20, 201113 yr Whuuut. It's awful. Move on Rihanna, no more good songs on 'Loud' (bar 'Skin', but as if that'd ever get released! :()
July 20, 201113 yr Awful song. I quite like the look of that artwork though. She should just move on from 'Loud', and either re-release it (which I wouldn't mind, due to finding half of the original album poor), or release another album - what happened to that 'Let Me Go' song which was rumoured...?
July 20, 201113 yr I think they will do this single try and push the last few sale sout of loud and then do the deluxe which will probably be around for the lucrative christmas market.
July 20, 201113 yr I think its about the only decent single choice left on the album. It probably could have done without being released, but seeing as they are intent on another single it is the right choice.
July 21, 201113 yr  Worst track on the album, I'd rather have Skin! MAN DOWN IS SCREAMING RELEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Why leave the 2nd best thing she's ever recorded as an album track :( Cheers is 6/10 at best, sooooooooooooooooo overrated!
July 21, 201113 yr What's with the hate?! This song is amazing. (Brilliant use of sample too!) It's so feel good and will be an anthem song for pre-drinking sessions and general drinking parties! Perfect single choice for end of Summer! I wish for newer material, but for all I care, she could milk 'Loud' so much. Every song is at least 8 out of 10 (bar 'S&M' and 'Skin' for me) and I'm not even bored of the album!
July 21, 201113 yr I agree, perfect way to close the album and probably the best choice of single left I think. Could easily be another Top 10 for her I reckon! :D
July 21, 201113 yr I agree with Jon i think this will be brilliant song for people going (back) to uni.
July 21, 201113 yr I was hoping if anymore songs were going to get released from Loud it'd be 'Complicated'. Cheers has been one of my favourites since the album release so I'd be happy with it being a single, hopefully it gets a good video.
July 21, 201113 yr Fading would be my choice, but its another ballad and she's just released california king bed so can't see that happening.
July 22, 201113 yr I do really like Cheers (Drink To That), but I'm slightly bored of the album now I loved California King Bed when I first heard it.. and by the time it was released I hoped I'd never hear it again
July 24, 201113 yr Is she no longer going for 'Man Down' in the UK? It has been hanging around 50 something for ages on iTunes with mild video and radio play. With a full push it would have probably gone top 15. What a shame. :( Cheers isn't a bad song but I sense it will flop. It sounds like a poor man's 'Te Amo.' I hope she goes with Man Down to close the era off, as I doubt she'd release LTWYL part II...
July 24, 201113 yr  Poor man's Te Amo? It sounds more like Hard, and even then not very much!Cremey is going to LOVE you :heehee:
July 24, 201113 yr Cremey is going to LOVE you :heehee: Haha you know me too well! But yes, Liam...shame on you for suggesting it sounds anything like the amazingness of 'Hard'! Admittedly I have just listened to 'Cheers' for the first time in over six months and I must say I quite like it! Didn't really listen to it after disliking it on the first listen, should've played it more at first to get into it I guess ha. Still hate the intro and middle eight with the people supposedly cheering for the weekend etc. If there was a radio edit without that I'd be happy for it to be a single.
July 24, 201113 yr Probably my least favourite :( she should just push Man Down then leave the album be
