are JLS number 1? because popbars showing that they are 97% of the wanted

They've been Number 1 for the past couple of hours - the pop bars aren't always the quickest to update - especially when the sales tend to be big

Another version of Valerie top 300 :D

LIALG and the second Valerie have fallen on this update but they've been overtaken by Maverick and JLS respectively so they're not decreasing. The songs are probably close to peaking now though.

Good climb for Magnetic Man :D

Really hope Back To Black goes top 5, Amy's best ever song imo

Looking at those pop bars I have a bad feeling BTB is not going to progress any further than #11 :( I hope I'm wrong though

Can't believe Back To Black originally only peaked at #25 its an amazing song! And Rehab only #7 I was sure that was top 3!
It's just such a shame that Amy never finished her third album. Now Back To Black will be her last ever proper album. I'm sure at some point down the line (before 2012) Universal will decide to release unfinished/previously unreleased material in the form of a posthumous album.

Supposedly she did finish it... they just post-poned the release after her catastrophic Belgrad show.

Okay, some of Amy's songs *are* decreasing now. Ah well, they couldn't keep climbing forever. Really hope BTB doesn't stall at #11 though! :(

Imo:

1. The Club is Alive

2. One Shot

3. Eyes Wide Shut

4. Everybody in Love

5. Beat Again

6. Love You More

7. She Makes Me Wanna

Also, I wouldn't say boy bands are out of fashion really. Wasn't there a time aboout 6 months ago when Take That, JLS, McFly and Westlife were all in the top 10 on iTunes together, or something like that.

Also, Dev must LOVE the UK at the moment. This is the only country where Bass Down Low got top 10, and now she's getting a #1! :o

It's a shame Back to Black looks like it's got a long way to go top 10 now. I hope it makes it.

Its funny how people suddenly give a damn about amy winehouse now she is gone but didnt when she was alive that is what i call #bandwagon. I am no huge fan of hers i must admit but i can admit she had a nice jazzy voice for a white singer which was unique and my fave songs from her was tears dry on their own and valerie.

However i also love JLS she makes me wanna yes its typical generic bla bla bla whatever you wanna call it, but i love it its a great song for the summer (well whats left of it) and i dont blame them if they do end up being number 1 at the end of the day its NOT THERE FAULT! no one knew that amy winehouse was going to be dead and it doesnt automatically give her the right to be number 1 when people/media were taking the pi$$ out of her when she was alive and now they suddenly taking the moral ground. The public if they generally want to see her number 1 then im sure they will (i have a feeling the album could well be number 1 next sunday). So the point i am trying to make is however you feel about JLS its not there fault if they do end up being number 1 and i for one have been rooting for them to be number 1 when i first heard the song. lol this is just my opinion of course!

couldn't agree with you more ;)

I don't want JLS to get to #1 because I don't like the song. Nothing more than that, which is why I wouldn't complain if Amy got it (although I doubt that anyway). Although they're nice guys, and Dev is talented too, so it wouldn't be the worst thing for them to get a #1, but based off the song itself, I think it's too generic to get to #1.

I thought Beat Again was a really good debut single for JLS. It's not my favourite song of theirs, but it was totally not what I was expecting from them! :o

Erm, I'm pretty sure people did 'give a damn about Amy Winehouse' while she was alive, considering Back To Black has sold over 3 million copies in the UK, over 10 million copies worldwide and won loads of awards. And three or four singles from it have become modern classics, four or five if you count 'Valerie' which was released around the same time. Of course more attention is going to be given to her after she dies... that doesn't mean no one cared about her during her life. See Eva Cassidy for an example of that.

If you exclude the part about you loving the JLS song and how you want it to be #1, I completely agree with this post.

It's actually quite hilarious seeing people have Amy Winehouse in their signatures now yet she was nowhere to be seen before she died.

To say people 'didn't give a damn' about Amy is just BS... As Bray said, BTB sold 3 million in the UK alone, not to mention the horde of Grammys she won for it. She will go down as one of the greats, mark my words. And having her as a signature is not exactly hilarious, I'm saddened by her death and want to show it...

Why the hell would you have a picture of someone who hasn't been relevant for four years in your signature?   It's something called a TRIBUTE. It happens EVERY TIME someone important dies. -_-

That's ridiculous. Most people are fans of loads of artists. You can't have them all in your signature at the same time! If you're an Amy Winehouse fan, now is an appropriate time, as a sort of tribute imo.

For example, I've got Jay-Z and Kanye in my sig now, because they're releasing an album soon. I've liked them for years really, but now is a good time to sig them.
