9 is a good number too, especially Sober, Stay Too Long and Ego!

And Battlefield! Plus Girls Aloud - Untouchable :( One of their top 5 tracks ever imo!

I loved Battlefield so much! It was a crime that didin't go top 10. Party In The usa missed the top 10 by less than 50copies and finished 120 behind 9! Was gutted.

Wait, what does Cheryl have to do with it ? Oh yeah, she's in my sig, so everytime I'll be making a comment about a song, you will refer to my sig as a counterpoint ... HOW CLEVER !!!!

Except you didn't just make a comment about a song, you implied JLS's success was less legitimate purely because most of their sales come from young girls, when exactly the same can be said for Cheryl. In any case, you walked right into that one and if you really didn't expect someone to come back with it, then you deserved to be owned simply for your lack of foresight.

And I don't care who's buying Cheryl's records for the simple fact that her singles have been great, while JLS's singles have been awful.

Debateable. If pushed, I genuinely prefer JLS to Cheryl's solo stuff, myself. Neither have ever produced anything that even borders on credible, but, as someone else said, JLS's songs are atleast usually catchy and good for throwaway pop songs... whereas Cheryl's songs aren't even that, her songs are usually just weak even for pop's standards and sound like watered-down Rihanna B-sides. Imo. And I'm not a 12-year-old girl. :)

Has anybody got NOW updates?

I know Mr Saxobeat has been the most cherrypicked follwoed by Superbass.

Spot on. Literally nothing negative was said about Cheryl, in fact i like her, i was simply stating Cheryl's fanbase is most probably most of the same fanbase which make up JLS' main fanbase: Teenage girls. Which Hazayy (a Cheryl Cole fan) was having a go at, but its just ironic that the same people buying their music is most probably the same buying Cheryl's.

In this particular occasion that wasn't what happened. Karma simply used Cheryl as another example of an artist who has young girls buying their records, he wasn't having a go at Cheryl.

Thanks Lovett. Not sure where SceneofSixCrimes got the idea of an 'attack' just stating a main segment of an artists fanbase.

Agree. It shows how flawed someone's argument is if they have to resort to attacking the artist in someone's signature.

Hope this wasnt directed at me  It is sometimes the case so you may have been speaking in general but there was no 'attack' here.

 #23 - Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own

 #24 - Amy Winehouse - Rehab

:o Surprised but glad at that. Tears Dry On Their Own is far better than Rehab and my second favourite Amy song. Nowhere near Back To Black though.

 Really happy with that, I hate Rehab, neber got the love for it. Tears Dry On Their Own however  Where did it peak when released?

So Superbass could go top 10 this week? Finally? :o

I want Set Fire To The Rain there :(

WOOHOO back to #11!

So close between these 3 i'm guessing:

SFTTR #11

DWGH #12

Superbass #13

SFTTR is so close to top 10 now then!!

She isn't really to be honest, she's now falling away from #10 and about 2.9% off. And that 2.9% becomes 5.7% if you take out JLS' enormous lead. :(

Edited by Bré

JLS with a 50% lead....makes me sick. The public need their eyes and ears testing.

As for the Cheryl thing, she's nothing but a talentless waste of space who will do anything to get in the newspapers....but I'll save that for another thread.

Maverick Sabre still climbing at 15 :D hope it can make or get near the top 10

Edited by Chart Wizard

Nice to see Maverick climbing :)

Please tell me Adele's gonna make the top 10 at some point... *fingers crossed*

Really hope Back To Black sticks in the Top 10 all week, its a crime it didn't even peak in the Top 20 originally. Shame her death is the only way to get it to repeak!

Amy's entries in the top 100 (CBA to do a full update):

Back To Black #6

Tears Dry On Their Own #22

Rehab #23

Love Is A Losing Game #30

You Know I'm No Good #35

Valerie (solo) #42

Valerie (w/ Ronson) #44

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow #62

Looks like 4 of her songs could repeak this week - Back To Black and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow definitely will (I don't think the latter has ever even been a top 200 hit?) and Love Is A Losing Game (#46) and the solo Valerie (#37) may do as well.
