This looks promising though I'm not sure how I feel about Monsters University. They got the whole sequel thing right with Toy Story but even though Cars wasn't that good anyway Cars 2 is getting awful reviews and I'm just hoping they don't ruin Monsters Inc. by making a crap sequel for that too. I really hope Brave is back to proper Pixar standards.
that looked like rebekah brooks in the trailer.

Ha! :D

Seriously though, this looks like Pixar back on form. The Monsters Inc prequel on the other hand, no thanks.

Cars 2 was awesome! So are pretty much all Pixar films tbf. Pixar are THE masters of computer animation.

It looks crap, although every Pixar trailer has been pretty crap and they've all turned out brilliant ('Cars' not included).

actually quite enjoyed this but it didn't feel very pixar for some reason. & when they've made such juggernauts in the past you kind of expect something special from them but i suppose cars was the sign.
I saw this a few weeks back, pretty average by any standard and certainly a very weak effort in the Pixar cannon. The pacing as very odd, it felt like half the film was setting things up, only for it to spend 30 seconds solving it. Some of the voice work was very good though, Billy and Emma in particular. Plus some of the jokes, like the busty maid were very funny, but I can't help but feel it missed the mark humour wise quite a lot. I'd give it a 5/10
Agreed with you both. It felt like half of the film was missing towards the end. I'm worried about this new "Pixar", the spark is missing.
I've heard that this is excellent, everyone up here seems to be going mad for it. I reckon it's one to miss though.
