I think its more like the 'Lights' video.
I cant see hot 100 happening either unless radio take to it. Its a shame she hasnt made it huge :(
A STARBUCKS SONG now has a STARBUCKS VIDEO to match. Nothing worse than a video that is a LITERAL REPRESENTATION of the lyrics. She does have quite nice hair though (maybe)?
I agree, it probably won't make the top 100. I don't like the new video. What have they done to her? :(

I've never found her as attractive as I do in this new video, so I don't see a problem.

Visually it's obviously better because they've pumped more money into making this. However, my opinion of the song hasn't changed, nor will it ever change.
A bit like 'E.T.' by Katy Perry - excellent video, terrible song imo.
Surely it depends on how much of a push she gets there? She does look stunning in the new video, but it's nothing exciting.
If the song gets promoted there, I'm sure it'll chart. It's good, I think people would buy it if they heard it.

'Lights' hit top 40 on itunes but because radio didnt support it quick enough it didnt make the bb100.
I don't think it will chart on Billboard Hot 100, the new video isn't as good as the UK one as well..
I thought she looks really nice in this video. The song will do nothing in the US though. Not the music American people like imo.
She's touring the US at the moment... surely that will help as well?
I really like the effects in this video but the other was more colourful and interesting.
What the actual f*** are they playing at with this girl? The original video is perfectly decent. This new one besides being pointless is absolutely dire. Whoever did the lighting should never be employed again. No TV station in the US would play this because in most of the outdoor scenes you can barely make anything out. And did we really need the hideously literal interpretation of the lyrics complete with STARS in EYES (you see, because it's called Starry Eyed?!?!) - as Jake says there's not much less imaginative than that. I assume the director came up with the concept... I'd like to know who it was. If I was an Ellie stan I'd probably start a smear campaign to try and ensure he was never allowed to work with a popstar I like again. And finally why is she dolled up like a dog's dinner at the start (looking extremely uncomfortable) only to spend the rest of the video dressed in a totally opposing 'comfy chic' style complete with beanie hat? Truly one of the worst videos from a British popstar in a long time. It puts me in mind of the tragic affair that was New In Town actually.

Not even Your Song did that. At its best Your Song was only getting 100,000 views a day.
I have noticed there are many banners advertising it under music videos, and it has also been featured in the sidebar. I suppose it's good promotion for the song anyway.
The views are 222,559 it seems. It doesn't change, I wonder if it is frozen.

I don't mind the video myself, although I would say I prefer the UK version
I'm hoping this can at least get her a top 100 hit, I'm not expecting it to do very much at all though
