I'm just awaiting the music now. My most anticipated release this year. (Even ahead of my favourite artists Kelly Clarkson & Britney! :lol: - Although I think that's just down to being intrigued as to where she wants to take her music and stuff) Really can't wait to see what she delivers

not until August? so the single probably won't premier until around summer then :( thats a long time, although I guess its good their taking time rather than rush-releasing something

I still think that is a temporary cover and then they'll add another one closer to the time.

 

Cher was actually my favourite contestant at the start of the show. Her audition = :wub:

But as the weeks went on I found her more and more annoying. I would watch her performances and think "Oh wow that was good" and then she'd open her mouth and it would be back to square one again.

 

She really doesn't have the likeability factor imo, but she's out of the X Factor now and I guess she doesn't really need that as much to do well. As long as the music is good I'll be happy, so I'm looking forward to hearing the album.. Probably the most out of all the contestants from last year

 

& I think the Cheryl comparisons come because during the show it came across to me that they were trying to turn her into a more urban version of Cheryl with the judges making references of how they were so similar, red hair etc.. I do think they look alike, but it was more that Simon was trying to create a new Cheryl Cole

Yeh that's what I posted on the previous page. They've probably just got it up for now, but will change it when they've shot any artwork pictures

She only just started recording like a couple of weeks ago, of course it won't be before then.

 

That won't be the official cover either, 7 months in advance. It'll be just a provisional.

I hope cher does a cover of that song stay on the album. So fantastic. Would make a good single and just personally be great to hear her cover it for her album.

I agree with Sabrina, I think it's making her look desperate to follow the trends and be popular, so she copies Rihanna (who we all know is INSANELY sucsessful). Her hair was fine as it was tbh... Oh and I'd die for a Cher/RiRi duet :wub:

Cher won't win either way. If she keeps it black/her natural colour, then she'll just get more and more comparisons made to Cheryl Cole. Which is what I think she's trying to go away from, as opposed to directly copying Rihanna...
