She was the ONLY rapper in X Factor history LOL.

Well, there was that girl from Miss Frank.

Seriously though, it was really nice, to FINALLY see someone, after 7 years of the show, who'd perform the likes of Soulja Boy, Jay-Z, Eminem, Dizzee Rascal, Professor Green, etc.

Sorry, but Total Eclipse of the Heart gets boring after a while. :drama:

Embarrassingly bad. She is rapping over some wobbly faux-dubstep for majority of the song.

Sony are clearly leaking this themselves (I think) seeing how I have absolutely nothing to do with the industry yet they sent me a link.

But demos are made to give you an idea of how the song should/will sound. I don't know many demos that are completely different to the final products.

I have no reason to hack and even if she was on iTunes I'd have no incentive to preview any of the songs. Haha. I probably sounded a little too harsh because this type of music just isn't my cup of tea - you'd probably like it.

Edit: If this actually. I misread that. Sarry.

Perez Hilton just released this video of a song off her debut album called Superhero. It is wicked, really really good.

Just her and a guiter. I'm so impressed. I love her already but this just wow, fangirling at the moment

how amazing is that? she has a great voice!

*looning*

IKR, this is probably the ballad on her album but it's not cheesy at all. I really excited for it. :yahoo:

She said there are a few ballads on the album, when talking to Scott Mills, didn't she? So I hope there isn't just the one. I don't think this is a ballad either. It's just an acoustic version. But yes, as predictable as it may be, I do love the sound of it.
Even that song, it's so unatural of her voice. She has an ok voice (not amazing, but good still), but I liked her voice on the X Factor when it showed her vulnerability and emotion. She just puts on that silly 'I'm so cool cos I like rap music' voice and it sounds bloody stupid. She'd be much better if she stuck to what she was actually GOOD at, and not what the people at SyCo think will make them the most money.
I don't like this one. For all its faults, I think I prefer Swagger Jagger!

SJ is superior imo too! Superhero sounds nice enough though, perhaps it'll be better once we hear the studio version.

Jaya (a random singer who had a number 3 'hit' on the official Asian chart which the amazing DJ Do It Again) has done a cover of Superhero:

Cher Lloyd has announced that she will host an online listening party for her debut album.

The singer, who has been working on the record in the US with producer RedOne and X Factor songwriter Savan Kotecha, will preview a number of songs from the LP on the web tomorrow.

During the party, which will be available for fans to stream online, Lloyd will be interviewed by 1Xtra DJ Nick Bright to discuss working on the album and her new single 'Swagger Jagger'.

Kotecha recently compared the 17-year-old's debut to Fergie's The Duchess, adding: "It's such a blend of different things."

Busta Rhymes also features on the album, on a duet that Lloyd has previously described as an "anthem for [her]generation".

Fans can listen to a preview of Cher Lloyd's debut album via Ustream on July 28 from 6.30pm.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! :w00t:
