Posted August 3, 201113 yr http://www.25thframe.co.uk/chartspagetempl...rce=ukboxoffice I found this site yesterday whilst researching how well the last HP film had done in the UK. It's obviously a little out of date as it only covers the first week of said film's release, but is a rough template at least of the highest grossing films released here. The site lists up to #100 but I've only posted the top 10: 01 Avatar £93,442,625 02 Toy Story 3 £73,405,113 03 Mamma Mia £69,166,087 04 Titanic £69,025,646 05 Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone £66,096,060 06 Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part II £63,000,000 07 LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring £63,009,228 08 LOTR: The Return Of The King £60,880,923 09 LOTR: The Two Towers £57,600,094 10 Casino Royale £55,287,027 Hallows Part II apparently stands at #06 using data from Digital Spy and Wikipedia I apologise if such a thread was posted before. I just found it interesting. Edited August 14, 201113 yr by GrAmii
August 3, 201113 yr I'd love it to top Avatar but I think it'll end up falling just short at #3, hopefully #2. So when Titanic 3D comes out, will those figures get added to original Titanic or be seperate? Because apart from the silly glasses it's basically the same film!

I hope it is combined, I'd much rather Titanic be #1 than Avatar. Though I'd rather Harry Potter overtake them both..

August 4, 201113 yr Yeah. Releasing it sometime next year to celebrate a century since it happened or whatever. I think if he gets it right (James Cameron) then it could quite easily replace 'Avatar'.
August 4, 201113 yr Author I'm not sure celebrating a century since it happened is appropriate  I know what you mean though :P I'm also surprised no film has surpassed £100,000,000. Edited August 4, 201113 yr by GrAmii
August 4, 201113 yr I can't see Harry Potter taking over Avatar. Harry Potter it is far to front loaded while Avatar held up in cinemas for months. It is the same story in the USA.
February 1, 201312 yr So the updated list is now; 01. 'Skyfall' [£102,255,506] 02. 'Avatar' [£93,442,625] 03. 'Titanic' [£79,990,624] 04. 'Toy Story 3' [£73,405,113] 05. 'Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2' [£73,094,187] 06. 'Mamma Mia' [£69,166,087] 07. 'Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone' [£63,957,673] 08. 'Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' [£63,009,288] 09. 'Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' [£60,880,923] 10. 'Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' [£57,600,094] Released In 2012/2013: 12. 'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises' [£56,257,144] - **Highest of the Franchise.** 18. 'Avengers Assemble' [£51,614,076] 20. 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' [£51,020,811] 48. 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part 2)' [£35,405,174] - **Highest of the Franchise.** 67. 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' [£30,048,246] - **2nd Highest of the Franchise** 86. 'Life Of Pi' [£25,957,044] 90. 'The Amazing Spider-Man' [£25,743,164] 96. 'Prometheus' [£24,723,280] 97. 'Les Misérables' [£24,618,896] Surprised 'Skyfall' is actually number 1. I thought it'd be top 3 but didn't think it'd quite be able to knock off 'Avatar'. :o After this week, 'Les Mis' should be up to about #88 :D - 'Life of Pi' should see a nice 2-4 place jump too! Interesting to see how much 'Monsters Inc' & 'Finding Nemo' will benefit with their re-releases. Not quite sure where MI was before it's release though, but it's done decent numbers at my cinema. Hopefully 'Finding Nemo' can jump a few places
February 22, 201312 yr Wow, surprised that Skyfall is No.1. Haven't seen it but have heard mixed reviews of it.
