^ #2 through to #9 are also remarkably close, so I could see her falling down behind them lot quite promptly. I think she'll probably only get 2 weeks in the top 10 now! :o

To say JLS are probably falling quite a bit too, it's pretty embarrassing how fast Cher is falling. Shes down to 0.79 already!

JLS aren't falling significantly at all, I wish people would stop assuming this. They still have pretty much the same lead over The Wanted as they did this time last week and Guetta is only marginally ahead of The Wanted.

They'll obviously fall quite a bit from last week's sales to this week's but they'll have a far less drastic drop from this week to next because all the heavy falling they did was done during last week when The Wanted gained about 35% on them and promptly stopped gaining on them on about Friday.

Just noticed Cinema is at #13 now :o

Top 10 next week?

I'd say they were still declining at a decent rate! The thing is the same can be said for at least half of the top 10

I hope so but I can't see it happening, I think it'll end up peaking just outside the top 10 :(

11th September, so still over a month away yet..

Who has been giving it airplay to generate that much interest?

Who has been giving it airplay to generate that much interest?

It doesn't even premiere until Wednesday, so it hasn't got ANY airplay (apart from the first 10 seconds being played on Scott Mills yesterday). That's just how crazy the fans are, that many pre-orders without listening.

I'm not one of those people that thinks really lowly of the fanbases of boybands, etc, but that IS really strange. I could kind of understand pre-ordering a song you haven't heard from an artist that's been around for a decade and proven themself time and time again, so much that their fans can be very confident that they'll like the music, but it's a bit weird to do that for an artist that hasn't released anything! I think a similar thing happened with the X Factor winner single. People were pre-ordering that, but not only had they not heard the song at the time, but they didn't even know who would be singing it!!

But each to their own, and everything. Since it looks like it'll be a big hit, I hope I like the song.

I just assumed it must have been played somewhere, because I couldn't imagine ANYONE being daft enough to pre-order a song they've *never* heard!

A shame Christina can't get a hit here.....sums up the lack of taste with the general public here.

I'm not sure what you mean by this post - if you mean Perri, 'Jar Of Hearts' *is* a hit. If you mean Aguilera, her last era was absolutely dreadful which was why it flopped and it flopped worldwide as well, she was successful before that.

And if you were talking about Aguilera and meant 'Moves Like Jagger', that isn't even released here and unfortunately probably will be a hit.

I agree, that Not Myself Tonight at least, wasn't up to her usual standard.

And, rather oddly, for reasons I don't know, I always used to start humming the tune to Yeah! by Usher whenever I heard the chorus.

 58. Who's Laughing Now - Jessie J

Did she perform this somewhere? Seems to be doing pretty well. Jessie's continued success astounds me, are people really not bored of her yet?

Great to see Duck Sauce doing so well already :cheer: It's released on September 4 (same week as the ladies) so I would love it to be number one

The sad news is how 1D, Wretch, Ed and Calvin are doing so well already - maybe Example won't have his number one  I would also hate Calvin or Wretch at the top, both of these follow ups are much worse than their previous single. For Calvin it was expected as 'Bounce' is amazing and one of my faves of the year (would be impossible to follow up to that) but Wretch had already released a boring Tinchy Stryder wannabe track 'Unorthodox' and I thought he couldn't get any worse (he just has)

Emeli Sande could be a surprise number one, I wouldn't mind that

No. She only got popular this year. I'm sure she'll get an X Factor slot and have another big hit with 'Who You Are' (not that I want this to happen of course :puke: I hate that song. It got T40 on album release week so she won't let it go unreleased.)

I think she performed it on Alan Carr.

Personally, I like Jessie. I'm bored of Price Tag now, but I still like her other songs. Nobody's Perfect is my favourite out of what I've heard from her.

I like Who You Are. There's just that bit of the song where she screeches, and it sounds horrible to me. :( I hope they do like Nobody's Perfect and do a slightly better version for the single. I like the song as a whole though.
