Its a summer pop feast that will probably do wlell enough in Europe but not the UK. La la love in my opinion is better than Euphoria although most of Europe appear to disagree.
You have the fucking GALL as a GREEK to come in here and whinge about neighbourly voting?! :manson:

And last time I checked, Sweden DIDN'T HAVE THAT MANY NEIGHBOURS.

I didn't speak for Greece but Cyprus. Yes, i know that Cyprus and Greece give always 12 points each other. It doesn't mean that i accept that fact automatically because i'm Greek. Don't generalise. Besides, many famous singers in Greece come from Cyprus. Anna Vissi, Mihalis Xatzhgiannhs etc. It's obvious that Greek people will vote for Cuprus because they buy their albums and go to their concerts. The same happens with Greek singers in Cyprus. Greece and Cyprus have common history. They didn't make war like ex-yugoslavian nationalities. It's ironic to happen something like that.

p.s Ivi Adamou was a contestant in the Greek Edition of X-Factor and many people voted for her two years ago. She has many fans in Greece. So 12 points was an obvious result.

Yes, I realise there are cultural reasons behind Greece and Cyprus swapping the 12. It just seems a bit OFF for someone else who realises that to then start whinging about neighbourly voting elsewhere in the continent!

I explained the reasons above. I accept the fact that Cyprus always give 12 points in Greece and you have right to claim it!. But we have many neighbours as Fyrom, Bulgaria and Turkey and they don't give us 12 points.

Ivi really was one of the best performers at this year's Eurovision. Not counting Rona and Loreen of course! I need to make a gif of her first 'up in the air / let's take it there' gestures in the first semifinal. Highlight of Eurovision <3

Cheesier than a deli counter... but in the best possible way! The song stunk of 3rd place, a real shame it didn't do very well in the results. Defo snubbed by jury.

I'm off to Cyprus in a few weeks so will defo give "La La Love" a good battering!

I partially agree. The highlight of ESC was CLEARLY Sarah Dawn Finer.

There is no such thing as neighbourly voting. It can be explained very simply and easily by diaspora and the fact that the former Yugoslavia countries tend to vote for each other because they all were the same country and thus have very similar music scenes. It'd be like being shocked that the four former UK counties voting for each other (in the event of Wales, Scotland and NI gaining independence) given that all four of us shared a music scene for quite some time.

La La Love charted at #77 in the UK!! The 2nd highest Eurovision entry behind Loreen in the UK chart!! :cheer:

Well done Ivi! She is definitely having the 2nd biggest after-Eurovision hit! :D

Is this the highest chart position for a Cypriot/Greek act?

I think it must be in terms of Cypriot entries, but Kalomira reached #71 in 2008 for Greece. I don't know if that is the highest for a Greek entry though.

Still fantastic for Ivi though

Shame it only made #77, it officially missed the all important top75. If this song had radio support it would definitely be top10.

From Ivi's official website: http://www.iviadamou.com/gr-en/news/ivi-ad...ites-history-uk

“LaLa Love” of Ivi Adamou went directly to #77 of the Official UK Singles Chart this week. The single had 4,002 downloads and climbed on the Top100 of UK. This is the most successful song of this year’s Eurovision, after the winner Loreen.

This success makes Ivi Adamou, the only Cypriot singer – who doesn’t live in UK – in the history of UK charts who enters the Top 100 of the official UK Chart.

10 days after the final of Eurovision and “LaLa Love” continues to have big success all around Europe.

Maybe i'm wrong, but Vicky Leandros (born Vassiliki Papathanasiou) is a Greek singer, which representing Luxembourg and won in Eurovision Song Contest [1972] with the song "Apres Toi".

"Apres Toi" - # 2 in Uk [April 1972]

"The Love In Your Eyes" - # 40 in UK

Ivi is doing INCREDIBLE in Sweden!! 'La La Love' has just hit #1 on Swedish iTunes! :cheer:

Ivi's trying to learn a couple of words in Swedish I think! No idea what she's saying though!

This is still like, the best Eurovision song of this decade for me. I've just been listening to a Eurovision playlist for some reason and had to put this on loop for about 3/4 plays, pop at it's finest
