So One Direction's single has finally been unleashed and it's pretty much exactly the kind of song they should have released. It actually sounds like a boyband song should sound, good vocals, catchy chorus but not too cheesy... personally I think it's got Number 1 written all over it.

 

Seems like the most obvious #1 of the year. This is judged on pre-orders before it even premiered, fan reaction on social media and some reaction that I've seen from non-loons. Will probably be a big airplay hit as well (being played on R1 for at least the third time today alright is backing this up right now).

Bit of a stupid poll tbh - its probably the most certain number 1 of the whole year

An obvious number one, although the song isn't that great. It was what I expected from them though, something that teenage girls will go crazy for. The lyrics are pants though! :drama:

I'm thinking that this poll is pointless because there's no way it's going to miss #1... but then we said that about 'Happy'.

f***. It's Brilliant IMO and I wasn't a fan of them much at all on X Factor. Definetly number 1.

This really is the perfect boyband song. :lol:

 

I quite like it actually: it's catchy and fun without being annoying or cheesy. And it seems that they're not being molded into another JLS or The Wanted which is a very good thing. And as everyone else has said, this is definitely going to #1.

I voted number 1 - and I haven't even bothered to listen to the song.

Even if the One Direction record was 3 minutes of silence, it would still of got to no1.

I don't really rate it that much in my opinion. I've heard a lot better! However, as it's supposed to be number 2 or 1 on pre-orders then it'll probably be number 1. Especially if that pile of crap Swagger Jagger can get to number 1.
