August 11, 201114 yr Radio 1 love Two Door Cinema Club but UK singles downloaders don't love them :( This isn't true. Even though they haven't had a Top 40 hit as of yet, their last two releases spent ages in the Top 100 around the number 50 mark, and the album has been in the Top 20 a number of times too.
August 12, 201114 yr Is/when is "When we were young" by Take That likely to get added? It's far better than Kidz and Love Love which both made it...albeit diminishingly!
August 12, 201114 yr Do Radio 1 ever playlist Will Young? I fear the new single is going to bomb (which is a pity as it's really rather good). No, they don't, not since his third album. Apparently he's not cool/new/ enough for the radio one demographic  . Jealousy is great and has had universal praise from all quarters, but it's not going to be heard enough by people who download singles, so yes, it could bomb. I think the album will do ok though, it's doing well on pre orders so far :). Perhaps he should take to rapping to a nursery rhyme or stealing a DJs song to create publicity, but thanksfully he doesn't do those things! Edited August 12, 201114 yr by fatmuffin

Even if he did I'm sure Radio 1 would ignore him because of his name. He's not 'cool' anymore and appeals to the radio 2 audience. R1 are ignoring the new Maroon 5 single for some reason, it's very radio friendly and it could do well in the chart with some promotion. It's got R2 atm but with it's worldwide success it should be on R1 Onto the playlist, it's great that FINALLY R1 are playing Christina Perri. I was worried for a bit it'd never make its way there but R1 have seen the hit  Number one please next week with Emeli Sande at 2 and Nero at 3

That's the one thing that annoys me about R1, how they 'bandwagon' onto songs after they become hits - if you're going to ignore it, stick to ignoring it I'd say!
August 14, 201114 yr Sugababes & Nicole Scherzinger next week please ^_^ sugababes is released 19/9 now....
August 15, 201114 yr Two Door Cinema Club - Undercover Martyn  About Time! Edited August 15, 201114 yr by CianS
August 15, 201114 yr Ergh.. All Time Low need to stop being playlisted. Good to see Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club, Ed Sheeran and Tinie on the A-List. Even Better to see Cher not on the A-List, It will be interesting to see if they add her next single. The B-list is great with Bombay bicycle club, Kids in Glass Houses and The Wombats. Christina aswell   Some good adds, Foo Fighters and Benjamin are both brill. Sad to see the Strokes pushed off. I'm wondering if James Morrison and Maroon 5 are going to be added this week
August 15, 201114 yr Even Better to see Cher not on the A-List, It will be interesting to see if they add her next single. They will, it's still done well in their eyes and they playlisted Diana Vickers' second single (although Cher's second single will do better as it's preceeding the album).
