Hope this will be the first Rihanna single ever to miss the top 20. Its terrible, the only single by her I have ever hated :(

 

EDIT: Oops, forgot 'Hard' didn't get top 20 either, or top 40 for that matter. Such a travesty. Second song to miss the top 20 then, as I can't see 'Cheers' missing the top 40, being in the top 100 already with hardly any airplay and no video. I just hope it flops anyway.

I love Cheers :wub: Another top 10 hopefully, I can see it getting about 8/9, similar to California King Bed - but it could just miss out and peak at 12/13.

I think Cheers are brilliant.

 

The Rihanna song from this era that I couldn't stand was California King Bed. I wish Man Down got released instead.

 

Hard missing the top 40 was a tragedy. The only good thing about it is that it's useful for proving to people that Rihanna can't just release anything and go top 10. :lol: The song itself was brilliant though, especially in comparison to Russian Roulette and Te Amo, for me.

 

Oh, and Rihanna released that charity song with Jay-Z which missed the top 40. :kink: That was another tragedy, since it was a great song, when you consider everybody involved made it in a few hours over the phone. :lol:

I like her but I can see why she's not liked by some..She doesn't really smile that much and comes across as gritting her teeth all the time? It's like she's had veneers put in and shes grinding them??

She used to come across as miserable, but not anymore I dont think, she just comes across as a bit awkward nowadays. I think mainly, some people don't like her, because of her voice. She really has weak vocals and she just doesn't have a nice tone to her voice at all. Personally, I don't like BOMD but I love 'Lucky Day' and the other 3 songs I have heard from her, but I still think she has a very poor voice.
