August 20, 201113 yr ^ Letland, Fevrosia and FNT Nickodonia for not voting. Danealanda's first entry was shit but Disco Romancing was the best of all the dance songs last contest imo :( I usually like the 'different' entries from Persephonia as well, and Torchwood and Lorikeet have a good ear for great tracks. August 20, 201113 yr With all the excitement for X Factor today I forgot to enter :drama: And of course I forgot all of last week :P With X Factor and school starting I probably won't have enough time to do the competition anyway. I guess the gap month gives me time to get a good dance song (which will most likely FLOP :lol:)

August 20, 201113 yr Author Well I have decided there's no AQ'ing this time as there's an even number of entries so there'll be semis of 23 countries and I will be voting in both semis. Have there been any other hosts who didn't qualify for the final coz I reckon I could be the first!

I know we don't copy everything that NSC does....but they've had situations like that before and we've been fine. What's the big deal anyway? If we want you could make it so the host Isconia either does or doesn't have to vote in both semis....depending on what they're doing now.

Last month the runner up (Unoshake) also voted in the opposite semis as well to balance things out. Which of course would only work if Espen were actually in the opposite semi to Isconia this month. It's not a massive deal though, it's only the equivalent to somebody not voting in their semi I suppose, which unbalances things anyway and can't be directly controlled. The problems would be if there were 47 entries and Grebo decided not to AQ - then we would have one semi that was harder to get out of statistically.
August 21, 201113 yr If you DNQd in the semi with 23 votes by 1 point and another person JUST qualified in the other with 24 votes you'd feel not being treated fairly in comparison.

August 21, 201113 yr I have no problem voting in both semis if you need me to. I have 9 days of internet left so it's feasible. In a way, it would be quite handy if I could because it would make the final voting a lot easier for me since I have to vote immediately after it opens. :heehee:
