woo Leona is up to #14 now :D Pixie and Sats both Top 5

 

Mabye my feed is slow but I still have the previous positions. Where exactly in the top 5 are they on yours?

Why are people so sure that Pixie Lott will get #1 after Red or Black tonight?

Leona was on it last night and look where it's got her..

 

 

Pixie is already top 10, Leona wasn't last night, anyhow I didn't say she get #1, I still think Maroon 5 will get it.

And why is it a problem if they care about getting a #1 so much? Surely that's a good thing? Some artists just release singles and don't bother promoting it or even care if it goes to #1, I think it's nice The Sats care so much about the charts and where their singles chart. Rochelle and Fankie have had five #2 singles (three with S Club 8) and The Sats have had multiple songs charting between #2 - #10 over the years, I think they're due a #1.

 

Fair enough. I'm sure they cried when it was revealed that they only debuted at #3 in the end though.

 

It's not a problem if someone cares about getting to #1. Obviously every artist would like a #1. But that seems like their number one priority (excuse the pun). When 'Missing You' was released, all they did was talk about wanting a #1 and getting people to buy it on their phones as well. I even remember that embarrassing This Morning interview. It's just quite pathetic. If they care about getting a #1 more than they care about the actual musical side of things, they're clearly not in the business for the right reason.

 

And regarding the last part of your post, I don't think they are due one just yet. Their output of late has been incredibly poor. 'Missing You', 'Notorious' and now 'All Fired Up' are just cookie-cutter pop crap. To be honest, looking over their discography, they haven't really released one #1-worthy single. Even 'Up' wasn't *that* great.

I still have Pixie at #9...

Because 'Collide' is a terrible song. :lol:

That is not necessarily an opinion that is shared by all 7 million people who watched it, though. Hopefully Leona will keep climbing and end up out-peaking both The Saturdays and Pixie.

I can not believe how well The Sats are doing. Its their worst song in my opinion. Looks like my predictions are totally wrong lol

Sats are #2 on the Pop chart though...

The Saturdays have always had consistently good singles. at the end of the day its all about opinion.

 

In my opinion 'Missing You' and 'Notorious' are both amazing songs. Best thing about them is they have a lot of very good album tracks as well.

This is taking forever to update today. Just when theres a chart battle I want to get into aswell :rolleyes:

All Fired Up is one of The Saturday's best songs imo and I've never been a fan of their music but I really like the song, good to see it so high, it's better then Pixie's and Leona's new song.

Grown to love All Fired Up, still want Pixie Lott to get it though.

 

The Saturdays are too desperate for a #1 single, didn't they tell their fans to buy remixes as well as the original version of Missing You in order to get the #1 spot? Nothing beats Up which deserved #1

very suprised leona isnt top 5 by now...still we'll have a better idea of what the charts will look like by this evening..although i do believe the saturdays are front loaded and will start falling by tomorrow

This is true the Sats have the best song and video, what is wrong with wanting to get to No 1 for pop acts it is important.That is what they are being judged on these days not credibility but chart success.Of course the only act that deserves No 1 is whomever has enough fans to put them there. :P
