Best video this era has to be either Judas or You and I...

Marry The Night is only good at the end 2 minutes.

Born This Way is a bit meh.

The Edge Of Glory doesn't need an explanation tbh..

This reaches 100 million Youtube views. Iconic video and self-directed

Best video of the era by a long distance, first video of hers I was able to watch more than once since Telephone.

The song may actually flop though...

Awful video. The beginning is self-indulgent, difficult to follow and feels like it's trying to be art-house when in fact it achieves nothing. The narrative is incredibly convoluted (what aspect of exploding cars relates to her life exactly?). Piss poor cinematography and camera work makes all in all for a very inspid video. The choreography makes it slightly better and proves what an incredible dancer she is (how she can dance like that when she smokes like she does is beyond me)

Very disappointed. I wish she would just wish she would allow someone else in to work on her videos in conjunction with her. Reign in these elements which led to the sharp decline in the quality of her music videos this era.

Sorry but Bad Romance is the most overrated music video of all time. It's amazing no doubt but Gaga finally topped it with Marry The Night.

Fairly good video, not quite the Bad Romance topper we hoped for and a bit too long (thus very hard to be amazing all the way through) though...

I agree it's not really good until the music kicks in, and then it's only really in the last few minutes or so...

Tbh it's most enjoyable if you watch it from 8:06. I actually do like the introduction. Weirdly I can identify with it (more the loathing reality than the getting nekkid and pouring Cheerios all over myself) but it really has nothing to do with the song, she should have chopped it off and called it a fashion film...
I actually really like that. It's the first time I've come away from watching a GaGa video feeling something other than disappointment in quite a while, so it's definitely a step-up on other videos this era for me. I don't like it once the music kicks in - I think it gets a bit lazy after that, especially with most of the video being filmed in that rehearsal studio. It's a shame because that's the bit most/all music channels will show too. I still wish she'd scale back the dramatics and length and plot (to a degree) and focus on getting across the message of a song via the video like Bad Romance etc. but it's a move in the right direction for me at least.

Really enjoyed the video. For me one of her better videos of this era with Judas & Y&I. Really grown to like the song more from watching the video too :D

Well as a whole it's a bit wacky and doesn't really stand alongside contemporaries like "Runaway" as an art piece but when the music kicks in I really like it. The TV edit is going to be so far ahead of anything else this era it's unreal.
FANTASTIC video! I loved the prelude, the fire scenes were brilliant, but the dance routine was the only thing to let it down. Definitely the best video of the era.

What a waste of Cheerios :(

All in all, a good video, but the scenes towards the end (Street dancing and burning cars) were head and shoulders above the rest, shoulda been mor eof it.

This video is the peak of her try-hardness... It didn't make me feel any sense of sincerity, sympathy for her, or empowerment - as it was intended to. It just made me dislike how far up her own ass she is & shed more light on her ever-growing ego. I would have probably liked it a LOT more without that 7 minute interlude, seriously... let it GO.

But, I liked the dancing. And the song is amazing... since the beginning of this era, I've always enjoyed her more when I just listen to her music, and leave the rest at the door. Perhaps I will start doing that from now on. And NO, Gaga... 'Bad Romance' is a masterpiece that you haven't come CLOSE to touching.

Whoever directed Bad Romance should direct her next lead single. Next year she'd be lucky to even get nominated at the MTV VMAs at this rate...

Everything about this video is flawless, it's actually the first video she's directed all by herself too. The message of the video is absolutely amazing too. <3

It helps if you actually understand the full video before you all start calling it try hard though..

Apparently, the video has become the fastest watched video in YouTube history!

They've released a 7" picture disc for 'Marry The Night'.

SO ANNOYING, could they not have released one for every single this era, instead of just 'You And I' and this. Ruined my collection.

Also, the video is now on the music channels. 8:00 - till the writing on her hand in the car. They've also cut several bits out, e.g. her smoking in the car, and replaced it with stills of the moon etc.

I hope they make a CD single! I want a full collection. I don't mind if it's only released in Germany or wherever, because at least I can import it, like I did with You & I.

The video helped the song greatly in the US taking it from #72 - #30s..

The UK however hasn't increased by much ever since the video premiered..
