And you don't have to get mad or upset...sorry if my posting comes across as rude or complaint...I was just pointing out some of the things you mentioned how a song gets vetoe'd.

Wasn't Lights only entered the contest before last with FNT Nickodonia?

 

She was entered recently, but the song was quite old and any hype it had had died down. Toes was a lead single from a forthcoming album.

I do see why Addy might be chagrined that Lights was vetoed in fairness, but of course the easiest way around it is to just go for complete unknowns!

 

I always try and sent unknowns (OK 85 percent of times) but taking into consideration some of the other songs getting through, vetoing Lights caught me on a surprise...I didn't expected.

 

But if mod's decided to veto'ed, than that's how is going to be. After all I am not a blog follower or follow radio playlist and all that good stuff.

 

 

Interestingly when I've sent a song that I thought was a genuine discovery, it turns out most people already know the song. :lol:

 

Agnes Obel, Brooke Fraser and Gotye being the obvious ones. I think SX and Andain are so far my only two entries where people made genuine discoveries.

I'm fairly sure I'm going Korean for a slice of fun happy bubblegum pop. It's a bit different to the usual K-Pop cliches though! But I am still on the lookout, I may find something else!

The only problem with Artist X is it may be a bit too dance. I'm not keen to kill my renaissance dead with a DNQ just yet.

Dance is doing really well in the contest lately though, the Spanish track is definitely more dance than pop, I say go for it :)
