100-150K and not a FLOP??? the last 2 albums sold 400K!!!

Considering album sales are not that strong at the moment, I think that would still be impressive, but as I said that would be the least it will sell. Personally I think it could be the highest one week sales of the year.

If "Paradise" does well there will be hype. ETIAW did just as well as "Violet Hill", after all...

Dont forget that vlv sold only 19k on the week it got that first spot... this will sell more but never managed vlv sucsess.. its a one time hit, it's coldplay's best seller single by a mile all over the world...

I am thinking that One Direction will sell around 165,000. Na Na Na will also contribute towards the sales of Don't Know Your Beautiful meaning that combined everyone is lower than their popularity atm.

WHY ARE THE KOOKS FLOPPING !!!!

Na Na Na will not contribute to the sales of What Makes You Beautiful. It's a different song. It'll chart on its own like Olly Murs' 'This One's For The Girls' did on the week of PDLMG's release.

I need to listen to Coldplay's song. Brilliant to see then still doing well anyway, hopefully another top ten hit although the Monday release is really not helping them. It seems like this week will be the best week for indie/rock/'alternative' music since the week Beady Eye, Noah And The Whale, The Vaccines and The Wombats all went top 40 - arguably it's even better than that week as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Coldplay should both be top 30, maybe even top 20 (and Coldplay possibly top 10) and Kasabian stand a chance too whereas none of the 4 songs made the top 30 on that previous week. Plus we've still got Snow Patrol potentially hanging on for a second week top 20 and Foo Fighters climbing quickly with Arlandria. :D And Kings Of Leon re-entering with Use Somebody plus Foster The People and Florence + The Machine sticking around too, we could have a top 60 that is over 10% 'alternative' :o

Four Ed Sheeran album tracks in the top 100 ('Gold Rush' #71, 'Autumn Leaves' #73, 'Drunk' #89 and 'Lego House' #97) :o This bodes very well for + opening on massive sales, I'm certain it'll do at least 100k if not 150k+ (no pun intended :kink:). Hopefully at least one of the album tracks can get an official top 100 placing too but again a Monday release doesn't help. More artists need to follow the lead of the likes of Wretch 32 and Example, not releasing albums digitally on Sunday is completely illogical.

On that note (Ed Sheeran) apparently Lego House is his next single! I've yet to listen but I'm getting the album in a couple of days!
As this topic is about to die, I'm going to start a new one~

Coldplay will sell over 200,000 in their opening week, although I dislike the album cover.
