Graham mentioned it and Engelbert said that he's glad he's going first so he doesn't have to wait until 4am Baku time when his voice may not be as good.

So pleased the Graham Norton performance has had such a positive impact on sales - It entered at #99 on iTunes and is now up to #61 restoring my faith that this song could be a hit!
He performed it live on Ireland's Late Late Show last night and was interviewed by presenter Ryan Tubridy. Jedward performed Waterline earlier in the show and sounded really off-key.

I thought that too when he said it, does he not know that the results have to be done too? :kink:

Couple of jokes from Graham included:

My favourite one was Graham wishing he won't be sat next to [on the plane] the sort of fanboys who go every year before showing a photo of Jedward.

Great performance, very classy, top 10 should be manageable but I'm not expecting anything more than that.

So pleased he managed to chart today even if it is only at #64! I think his apperance on Graham Norton saved him from a #78 smash hit! Really hope he will go Top 40 after the contest and i think his album will easily be Top 10 next week
You really got my hopes up for a "Now That's What I Call Eurovision" compilation there, Rich! :heehee:

The CD single is in our local Asda for £5! :o
Did anyone see him on This Morning earlier in the week. He had his microphone down by his hip for most of it. It was really strange.
Odd, I always thought Hurts were very much up for entering for the UK. Maybe it's a case of "once bitten, twice shy" after they were rejected a couple of years back in favour of Pete Waterman.
Oh, you think they might have been rejected again? That would be awful, rejected once in favour of Waterman and twice in favour of Engelbert. That's just insulting if so.
Hurts are more popular in a number of other European countries than they are in the UK. If they had been our entry I think they would have done very well. If they were rejected in favour of Humperdinck that seems a very strange decision. OTOH the band may have decided it wasn't for them. Success in Eurovision might not be what they need to achieve more success in the UK. Of course, with the right song (which Theo Hutchcraft is certainly capable of writing) they could have achieved both.
