Sorry Lee, but the idea of the Sugababes going to Eurovision is HILARIOUS. Could you IMAGINE Mutya doing Eurovision? As much as I adore her, I severely doubt she's ever heard of Azerbaijan never mind be able to locate it.

Unless of course you meant the 9,000th rate tribute act 4.0. In which case, they couldn't possibly do any further damage to the Sugababes brand anyway. Why not let them embarrass themselves in front of the whole of Europe.

The Vault is one of the most bizarre music channels going. More often than not, they show music videos from pop groups between 1997-2002, a time when I thought British pop music was at its absolute worst.

Hah you just picked my favorite era of music, I always say 1997-2002. I loved pop back then, not so much today...

Move it forward a year to 1998-2003 and those were my high school days, so almost any pop song from that era brings back memories  I can appreciate WHY people didn't enjoy the pop of that era but I did, and as a result The Vault is pretty much my favourite and most watched channel! They always dig out random flop pop videos that I thought I'd never see again.
I never include 2003 as one of my favorite years because that was when urban music took over from pop completely, and while I did like R&B (a lot), I didn't want it to wipe pop and dance off the map... 1997 however was pretty great overall, well balanced year. Although 1999 and 2000 were the peak years for me.

Not saying it's one of my favourite years, I'd take 1997 over it anyday. I was saying that 1998-2003 was the five year window when I was at high school, which The Vault more or less completely covers! 2003 was dire for pop and dance.

send ADELE

This would actually be brilliant because it wouldn't harm her career in the slightest and it would clear 400 points for a British win. :yahoo:

BBC probably aren't sure yet. How on Earth do we know?
We should send Rita Ora, just found out she was in Your Country Needs You in 2009 :o

My post in the German national thread, or is that just coincidence?

@bbceurovision Announcement's of British act coming soon

I'm scared.

Last minute prediction: one of Tom Jones, Mel C and Joe McElderry. Atomic Kitten as a long shot.
I'm going to say probably Joe McElderry is likely, or Mel C. I pray to god it's the latter of those two...
Frankie Cocozza.
