I guess now is the time to start the thread seeing as the Celebrity edition has just finished, and we have our first housemate in Pamela Anderson! I'm looking forward to it much more than I was for the Celebrity one - hopefully it'll stay interesting throughout, rather than waning towards the middle.

Do we expect Pamela will only be visiting for a few days? I'd really like her to be in it until she's either evicted or crowned the winner, but I doubt that :(

 

Still, will make things interesting at first and get viewers for a few days.

I didn't actually watch because I was watching Hollyoaks Later ... what's actually happening with Pamela Anderson going in, is she a proper housemate or what?!

Yeah Pam will definitely only be there for a few days, Probably a week at max. I'm sure she cost a lot. Hope she stirs it up!

Well if she doesn't stay for good tbh it is an underwhleming twist (much as I love Pamela :wub:) because they hyped it up like it was something as big as the winner staying in or the contestants having to win back everything after the house is stripped or something.

apparently, there's no housemates over 30 going in :o I'm not sure if this is part of the twist, or if more will, guess we'll wait and see...

What a waste of Pamela she could have been stuck in the celebrity series. Anyway this is obviously a ratings stunt, she did a similar thing on the Australian version.

 

I'm liking the rumour of no over 30s!

No over 30s sounds good, if there's anyone approaching/over 40 then it just ends up with them being 'left out' in a way because they don't usually fit in.

I'm hoping this will be better than the Celebrity series, I usually prefer the normal version anyway. A little disappointed that there aren't at least 2 over 30's though, I like to see some variation in age so long as their character is interesting too.

This series will last 63 days (9 weeks), and will have 14 housemates enter on launch night. Both confirmed by Brian, and will descriptions of all housemates here. IF YOU DISCUSS ANY OF THE HOUSEMATES FROM THAT LINK, PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS!!

 

I'm glad that it's 63 days - it seems a reasonable length of time, so hopefully there'll be enough twists to keep it alive.

That guy in the video who speaks like Stacey Solomon HAS to be in there! :wub: And there's someone from my hometown too there ^_^ Would be SO weird if I recognised them! :o But they sound like one of the boring ones :( I think the one who said he couldn't name his singer ex-girlfriend might be #5?

CONTESTANT DESCRIPTIONS:-

 

 

1. Female, from Bromley. Likes to climb trees and walk naked with heels on around the house. On top of that, she can do the limbo so well her head touches the ground.

2. Male, from Enfield, North London. Studying to be a therapist. Single, and would like to find a soulmate in the house. Interestingly, can fit his entire fist in his mouth.

3. Male, 22, from Cheshire. An entrepreneur, says he is 150% Conservative, and considers himself upper-class. Doesn't have a sense of smell either. Had the biggest hands at school and is yet to meet anyone with bigger hands.

4. Female, 25, from Manchester. Not a girly girl, hates talking about shopping and handbags. Says she only takes ten minutes to get ready.

5. Male, 23, from Peckham, South London. Runs a record label and produces his own music, has his own little studio at home. Claims he pulled Pixie Lott five years ago. And used to model for Baby Gap as a child.

6. 18-year-old female from South Shields. Obsessed with pink, claims to have a gay chihuahua and is convinced she's going to marry Dappy from N-Dubz.

7. Female, 30, from London. Model and holistic healer. Describes herself as a different species; certainly not human.

8. 20-year-old, male, from Solihull. Fat people make him angry. He also says that if he listens to sad songs he'll mime it to himself in the mirror, and he's so good at it he can move himself to tears.

9. Female, 28, from the Wirral. A club hostess, but doesn't often strip, just gets paid for companionship. Also says she's got a walk-in wardrobe with hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of clothes.

10. Male, 28, from Windsor. Big animal lover this one; he recently saw a frog die in his next door neighbour's pond and picked it up, blew air into it and brought it back to life.

11. Female, 19, from Tamworth. A keen wrestler, she says she goes to the gym twice a day and eats six or seven times a day, and spends all her money on food and protein.

12. Male, 27, from Newcastle. Works out six days a week, but regularly parties until 8am. His mum is his best friend.

13. Female, 21, from Oxford. Says she speaks five languages. Can shake her bum so fast it looks like a blur.

14. Male, 30, from Weston-super-Mare. He cries every time he gets his hair cut. He has got more scout badges than anyone else, by lying to his troop.

Away for the weekend so I can't watch it :( Anybody got any links to watch it on the internet ? And prefably one that I don't have to sign up for anything , but that'd be fine too...!

OMG Ariel :wub: I watched her audition ALL THE TIME, I loved it and remember rewinding her to laugh again and again! Imagine if it actually was her? :o Course it won't be, she'd probably pass to be in the celeb version... :P

He seems to normal and boring to me so far. Seems like a normal lad, just saying rubbish to impress.
