Posted September 14, 201113 yr Following on from their huge smash last year I Like It, Enrique and Pitbull have teamed up once again on the less 'club banger' and more POP song I Like How It Feels. It's got some whistling (the Moves Like Jagger influence?) and is actually a surprisingly pleasant and instantly catchy pop song with a subtle electro backing and anthemic Kings of Leon style 'oh-oh-uh-oh' style chanting. Another nice change of style from Enrique the musical chameleon after a year of club songs. Pitbull seems to have massively grown on me in the last year as well... daLxgKUad-c
September 14, 201113 yr Haha, copying my post from the other thread...: I was thinking it'd be a complete rehash of 'I Like It' and all the rest...it seems I was wrong but after listening to it I think I would've preferred that over this! Awful.
September 14, 201113 yr Author Aww, it's my favourite of his in a while based on the first listen, but then I've never been a huge fan of Enrique.
September 14, 201113 yr Easily his best since Heartbeat. I never much cared for I Like It either, it seemed to be trying to be big sounding when it wasn't big at all. This seems like a real grower.
September 14, 201113 yr "I Like It" is the only song I've liked from him for ages, I felt "Tonight" was too try-hard but fail.
September 14, 201113 yr I always forget just how much I like Enrique, until I start listening to one of his songs. He really knows how to stay current. This is pretty good on first listen too! I prefer 'I Like It' so far though. But this is better than 'Tonight'. Enrique rate: 07.5 'Bailamos' 08.0 'Can I Have This Kiss Forever' (feat. Whitney Houston) 10.0 'Hero' 09.0 'Escape' 07.0 'Love to See You Cry' 08.0 'Maybe' 08.0 'Addicted' 10.0 'Not In Love' (feat. Kelis) 11.0 'Do You Know? (Ping Pong Song)' [A genuine, pop CLASSIC!] 08.5 'Tired of Being Sorry' 10.0 'Takin' Back My Love' (feat. Ciara) 10.0 'I Like It' (feat. Pitbull) 09.0 'Heartbeat' (feat. Nicole Scherzinger) 08.0 'Tonight (I'm F***in' You)' (feat. Ludacris and DJ Frank E) 08.5 'Dirty Dancer' (feat. Usher) 08.0 'I Like How It Feels' (feat. Pitbull) [Potential to grow.]
September 14, 201113 yr I love 'Love to see you cry' btw, it's a bit forgotten and underrated. I think this song is a bit "footbally". I don't rate it high, I just don't see anything special in it. Pitbull is as pointless as ever.
September 14, 201113 yr Has he got a new album out soon then? I wanna hear his song with Jenny Lo. This is rather good. Edited September 14, 201113 yr by Regina
September 14, 201113 yr Author I think this and the J.Lo track are for a re-release of his current album but I'm not certain. My Enrique rate ; 09.5 'Bailamos' 07.5 'Can I Have This Kiss Forever' (feat. Whitney Houston) 08.5 'Hero' 09.0 'Escape' 06.0 'Love to See You Cry' 06.0 'Maybe' 06.0 'Addicted' 07.0 'Not In Love' (feat. Kelis) 09.0 'Do You Know? (Ping Pong Song)' 06.0 'Tired of Being Sorry' 09.5 'Takin' Back My Love' (feat. Ciara) 08.0 'I Like It' (feat. Pitbull) 08.5 'Heartbeat' (feat. Nicole Scherzinger) (the version on her album is marginally better) 07.5 'Tonight (I'm F***in' You)' (feat. Ludacris and DJ Frank E) (good in a club, wouldn't listen to it otherwise!) 06.0 'Dirty Dancer' (feat. Usher) 09.0 'I Like How It Feels' (feat. Pitbull) Nothing drastically below average but only a handful that I 'love'.
September 14, 201113 yr Tired Of Being Sorry is ridiculously underrated. I'm sure it would have been a big hit if it was the second single from that album.
September 14, 201113 yr The French version is  Haven't heard ILHIF yet, I'll check it out when I get home.
September 14, 201113 yr I think this and the J.Lo track are for a re-release of his current album but I'm not certainIt's for a re-release. It's a DVD of his Euphoria Tour that comes bundled with a new version of the album with Tonight and the three new songs. Tired Of Being Sorry is ridiculously underrated. I'm sure it would have been a big hit if it was the second single from that album. It was the second single from that album. It didn't really do too badly, it didn't chart very high in the UK but it boost sales of Insomniac while it was out. It did well in a handful of EU countries and the Frenchlish version with Nadiya was a huge hit in France. That being said I don't think Enrique's rendition was really destined for big things. Good song but a debatable choice for him to record. Edited September 14, 201113 yr by klank
September 14, 201113 yr This sounds fairly good, and definitely very current. I've always been a fan of Enrique though. 09.0 'Bailamos' 07.5 'Can I Have This Kiss Forever' (feat. Whitney Houston) 11.0 'Hero' 09.5 'Escape' 07.0 'Love to See You Cry' 09.0 'Maybe' 08.5 'Addicted' 08.5 'Not In Love' (feat. Kelis) 07.0 'Do You Know? (Ping Pong Song)' 10.0 'Tired of Being Sorry' - (Definitely ridiculously underrated, amazing song) 09.0 'Takin' Back My Love' (feat. Ciara) 08.5 'I Like It' (feat. Pitbull) 10.0 'Heartbeat' (feat. Nicole Scherzinger) 08.5 'Tonight (I'm F***in' You)' (feat. Ludacris and DJ Frank E) 06.5 'Dirty Dancer' (feat. Usher) 08.5 'I Like How It Feels' (feat. Pitbull) Only Dirty Dancer, Love To See You Cry and Do You Know aren't amazing for me. This slots in about the middle of his discography, but that still makes it rather good.
September 14, 201113 yr I love 'Love to see you cry' btw, it's a bit forgotten and underrated. Love to See You Cry is wonderful. I love the guitar and the bridge. I also rank Heartbeat as one of his best singles. Unfortunately, except for that one his singles after Can You Hear Me? have all been abysmal.
September 15, 201113 yr I wasn't a big fan of "I like it", definately preferred "heartbeat". For me, this era hasnt clicked and I prefer his other albums by far.
