Actually loving this. Was not an Olly fan first era, I wasn't impressed with 'PDLMG', 'TOM' or 'HOMS' and the only single I liked was 'Busy' so I didn't feel the need to listen to the album, however I think I will this time as 'HSAB' and this are both brilliant :wub:

I never really fancied him before but I'm starting to find him attractive now! Great fun video and great fun song, sure to be a huge hit.

Just pre ordered myself a signed copy of the album from Play.com :D

Not bad but right now I'd only rank it above 'Heart On My Sleeve' in terms of his singles. Could well be a grower though, exactly has 'Heart Skips A Beat' was (for me).
Another great song from him! It's insanely catchy and addictive. I like the retro-y feel his songs have. They sound really contemporary and now as well as sounding like it could have been released 40 years or so ago. :lol: It works for him.

Does anyone really pre-order albums from iTunes? I get it with singles but if it's an album I'd much rather have a physical CD unless it's crazy cheap. Anyway, rather excited for this :)

I pre-ordered Aphrodite by Kylie but only because I wanted Mighty Rivers. I prefer physical copies too.

 

Thankfullym I get paid on the Friday before this is released so I will pick it up on release day :wub:

It bothers me he included On My Cloud in the album. It just makes the Heart Skips a Beat single completely useless. Still, I love the song, so I shouldn't bitch.
He's a great lad whose career is going from strength to strength atm. His first album sold by the bucketload (108,000 1st week). His 2nd album should sell well on the back of his X Factor performance of 'Dance with me tonight'. And he has an arena tour next year plus his songs are all over the adverts, so the boy's done good! He's one of those people you just wanna see do well so I'm proud of him. He always seems like the underdog for some reason!

'Dance With Me Tonight' is fast becoming my favourite Olly single/song! It's absolutely brilliant. Really hope it's another big hit for him!

Judging by previews this is more like the album I expected from Olly last time, 'white boy soul'. Lovin the title track to the album.

 

If anything, Olly Murs could actually be a little bit more successful second time around because Xtra Factor has boosted his profile even more.

 

Agreed! It looked like a step back but his Xtra Factor stint has solidified his fanbase. He's started winning fan voted awards as well so his fanbase is obviously on the rise.

I like C'mon C'mon alot better, it's a shame that was a b side off his 1st album campaign. For me On my cloud sounds like a b side but maybe they've spruced it up a bit, who knows.

They were good actually, I was surprised at Olly's falsetto on Without You, didn't think he had that in his locker.

 

Does anyone have any experience with preording an album from Play? This album is out on the 28th but they it despatched today, should I expect it on Saturday, Monday or earlier?
