Thanks, the only reason I asked was because I was having second doubts over whether I sent it properly...

I do that too, but I tend to be a bit overgenerous, I had 9 10/10s, sorry to the other 7 9.5 pointers :lol:

I find one every four or five contests if I'm lucky! It's a rating that I reserve only for songs that go on to join my all time favourites :wub:

I'm too generous as well. Well, I used to be, now I've cut on the 'OMG AMAZING, 10/10 :wub:'s. This contest there were a few 9.5s but only one 10...

I had an 8/10 song which topped my points. There were two 7/10 moments and the other point scorers were 6 or 5s. There were at least 8 that scored 3 or below.

There's nothing earth shattering in this contest for me, but it's still a VAST improvement on the quality of last month with a lot of really strong songs. But yeah, it's generally two or three times a year that I make a 10/10 discovery via BJSC.

 

Which is why it was so amazing two months ago when I rated both Frida Gold and Lana Del Rey as 10/10, and both will end up amongst my favourite songs of the year overall. Even more amazing that I was hosting and able to announce them as the rightful top two :D

Right we're back online, and obviously the deadline passed. So clearly we shall be extending it. You now have untill 6pm (BST) on Tuesday 27th* to vote. A very next extention for you all.

I will discuss it with the mods. I reckon the final will end up being a Sunday though. I know people aren't really big fans of mid-week finals

To be honest I was thinking the deadline would be tonight, even with the downtime. But if there's a lot still to come in fair enough, at least it seems like we haven't lost data.

Still, at least 40% of the remaining countries to vote will do that in the last hour.
