'Someone Like You' is back up to #33, supposedly entirely due to the performance of it that Liam didn't bold (meaning it was just a short clip)

59. Wherever You Will Go - Charlene Soraia

I assume this is a cover of The Calling's song of the same name - anyone know what this is doing in the chart?

its on an advert for tea I think :o Hmmm, another Nu Templecloud/Taken By Trees?

EDIT: It doth appear it was only released yesterday. Doesn't explain how it's so high though!

Used on advert during X Factor, The Calling also have 2 versions in the Top 200.

Ah, that'd make sense. I'd hazard a guess at it being a female piano ballad version

I'm sure the music video could be helping, if UK stations are starting to play it

Possibly but I think that would give it a boost over a long period of time but it's just shot up like 4-5 places in one update.

Oh, reading back, Someone Like You wasn't performed at all  No idea why I thought that, I'm sure I remember seeing it in one of Liam's lists... maybe it is just the video effect then, no idea why it'd get such a sudden biggish boost from it at this particular moment though (it's now up to #30).

It climbs everytime X Factor is on tbh. I think it will just climb whenever a music show is on TV. Turning Tables has climbed about 50 places aswell. I think all her songs will just climb after every episode.

Doesn't look like any of the performed songs are going to do a Make You Feel My Love / Fast Car / Cannonball / Iris then and suddenly make a return to the T40.

I heard the instrumental to Turning Tables in the background when Kelly and J-Hud were discussing who to put through, and it was quite clearly Turning Tables. Not sure if that would give it a 50-place boost, but it did get used, albeit in the most subtle manner possible.

Best Thing I Never Had will probably return top 40, but that's not quite the same as those you mentioned really.

Yeah, that could be why. Come to think of it, the piano at the beginning of Turning Tables is PERFECT for that sort of scene.

Me too. It's not exactly got much of a melody does it?

This is a bit random, but I noticed E.T. and You and I have very similar drum patterns, like the "kick kick clap" from We Will, We Will Rock You.

Funny you should mention those two songs. Amelia Lily performed both 'E.T.' and 'You And I' on XF at Judges Houses.

It'd be funny if she performs We Will Rock You next week then. :kink:

I found mash-ups of E.T. and We Will Rock You (it sounds a bit of a racket in the chorus though) and You and I and We Will Rock You (You and I sounds better a bit faster). :D

Can't find an E.T./You and I mash-up though. :( Glee Cast need to do one.

Moves Like Jagger finally for #1? :o This can't be?

I'm trying not to get my hopes up just in case something comes out of nowhere but fingers crossed.

Its also now #1 and #4 on Amazon too (not that may mean much but still).

Hmm, none of tonight's notable releases (Florence, Marina, Skylar and at a push Darren Hayes and Avicii) have 'single' pre-orders so no early high entries can be expected tonight. 'Radioactive' might enter somewhere in the albums chart top 10 as its pre-order EP is currently #88. There's no sign of Florence's (:() or Skylar's EPs in the top 200 pre-orders though.

Pre-orders in the top 200:

29. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

46. Video Games - EP - Lana Del Rey

52. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) - EP - Professor Green

84. Sinners Never Sleep (Deluxe Version) - You Me At Six

86. Earthquake (feat Tinie Tempah) - EP - Labrinth

88. Radioactive - Marina & the Diamonds

120. Lightning - EP - The Wanted

126. Own the Night - Lady Antebellum

128. Fallen Empires - Snow Patrol

132. Sinners Never Sleep - You Me At Six

133. With Ur Love (feat. Mike Posner) [Remixes] - Cher Lloyd

156. Every Kingdom - Ben Howard

158. Danza Kuduro (Throw Your Hands Up) - EP - Lucenzo & Qwote

164. The Ultimate Collection - Steps

So it appears the version of Danza Kuduro we're getting is 'Danza Kuduro (Throw Your Hands Up)' by Lucenzo and Qwote feat. Pitbull and Don Omar  Well, it's another hit for Pitbull  No idea who the other three guys are, especially Qwote.

I called Maroon 5 for #1 next week ages ago. I'm counting this as another chart prediction victory over you :teresa:

Gosh. Another song with 4 credited artists? Like Give Me Everything, Gettin' Over You, Forever, The Way I Are and probably loads of others which I can't think of atm.

I really hope Skylar Grey can go top 10. She's just such a wonderful human being.

At least we don't get credits like 'Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Natasha Bedingfield, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Carrie Underwood, Keyshia Cole, LeAnn Rimes, Ashanti and Ciara' any more :P

The closest we've got to that recently is 'Tinchy Stryder feat. Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Example, Professor Green and Giggs' and 'Lethal Bizzle feat. JME, Wiley, Chipmunk, Face, P Money, Ghetts and Kano'.
