The album has fallen out of the uk top 40 today.I am so worried.She needs to put out a 3rd single.And it has to be Dope.it will sell the album

Good idea.I will get working on a promo sig tomorrow when I'm done at work.The forum was dead for a while,I thought there'd neve be life in it again,but nice to see the regulars posting more...

 

As for Dope,it is 100x better than Y&I for me.Its a pop ballad,Y&I is country.which is why I think it could be her breakthrough ballad hit and just what the album needs........

As much as I love 'Dope', what the album needs is 'Gypsy'.

She has spoken about Act II quite a bit, but nothing serious really. No substantial info has been released about it yet, but rumours are that she's been back in the studio. I just don't want to set myself up for disappointment if it doesn't happen, so I'm just keeping it chilled for now. :drama:

It's bad that this has been said of her last 2 albums now.

 

The songs are always good but hopefully the next batch will come without the added hyperbole.

Artpop has debuted at #4 in CHINA follorwing her being unbanned there! Amazing news!! :cheer:

She's totally re-releasing this in Q4, so I'm afraid any single released at this point won't be the last one.

I didn't say it was bad. I love it. But anything else she releases (bar 'Gypsy' and possibly 'Sexxx Dreams') will bomb. So I don't see the point of the era being dragged out.

 

She needs to just make a good commercial pop record, get over herself and forget about this art shit. Just get back in the studio with RedOne and make a hit we all know she is more than capable of, with a decent video. (0% chance of that actually happening but we can hope)

ARTPOP is a lot more commercial than BTW for me personally, I still think she could release the likes of 'Gypsy' or 'Swine' and get hits if handled properly. 'Sexxx Dreams' or 'Artpop' have plenty of single potential too. She should put out two ace single releases and then release Act II and the era could maybe be salvaged.

 

BUT I think with the tour, we might only get one decent single and that's it. Act II is only a possibility by the looks of it. As for RedOne, he and Gaga are pretty much history, I don't see her being close with another producer besides White Shadow anytime soon.

I almost forgot about that. And it's evident in the commercialness of 'Gypsy' that there some RedOne touch in there.

 

White Shadow > RedOne for me though. White Shadow and Gaga together are so effortlessly unique. But RedOne productions wouldn't harm her success singleswise at all. Or I should be hoping for Act II to be solely produced by Gaga, ala more 'Venus'-like masterpieces. :heart:
