Jewels and Drugs is the only one I really can't get into atm... It's just hideous imo.

I will be buying this today. Am I the only one that thinks as an album Born This Way was SO much better though?

Nope. 'Born This Way' really grew on me. I'm hoping this does the same as I'm really not feeling it anywhere near as much atm. Obviously has a couple of highlights, but everything else is just average "meh"-ness or just generally shit. 'Venus' really is the musical equivalent to aids. Catchy, but it's not a good thing!

There's a few great songs here, but there's also a lot of old tripe!

I'm finding myself getting quite bored towards the end of most songs. They all have their MOMENTS (bar manicure) but are overall a bit underwhelming.

Is is just me that thinks that Applause feels COMPLETELY out of place on this record? It feels particularly odd being on the end as well, if it ended at Gypsy then it'd be much better.

The full live iTunes festival concert as a bonus DVD was a bit of an unexpected extra with the deluxe version, hadn't been paying attention so didn't know that it was included!

To me it's just a bad attempt at trying to get hip-hop fans on board, it has literally nothing to it and there's not a hint of melody either.

 

If it wasn't for that though, 'Applause' would be the worst track on here for me. I'd gladly listen to 8 of these tracks and 4 of them I can honestly say I love, it'd be better if it was cut down to a 6 track EP or something. Bit of a mess, really.
