I don't know when to believe her or not tbh. I recall with the Born This Way Ball in 2012 she said ARTPOP's first single would be released in Sept 2012 and i bought my BTWB ticket in June and the show was on 3 December, thinking I'd be able to hear the new single on tour. But this did not happen. ;(

I read somewhere,can't remember where, that Gaga is rooting for Dope as the new single,but her team wants Gypsy.Lol I won't be surprised if she fires her new team for this...

If there is an ARTPOP 2, it could work and give the album campaign a much needed boost! Gypsy, followed by a great lead single from a Part II!

 

I reckon she should've released Artpop or Gypsy as first single though to have come back with more momentum.

'Applause' did a decent job as a lead single, but I have to agree 'Gypsy' would have been a much better choice. With 'Swine' as the second single and 'ARTPOP' third - the campaign could look a lot better than it is looking right now.

'Swine' would be a huge disaster of a single at any point. I do like it, but still.

On the contrary I think it could be a huge hit, EDM is very in at the moment and the song is a lot more appealing and grabbing than the majority of the other songs on the album.

'Swine' shouldn't be on the album, let alone a single! 'Do What U Want' would've been a massive hit if it was the first single. 'Gypsy' would've been a good follow-up and 'Applause' the third single.

I will never understand the 'Swine' hate on here.

Artpop II is a truly disastrous idea at this point. New album this year is fine, but let's cut all ties with this utter car crash of an album "campaign". Sadly she seems too lacking in self awareness at this point to realise Artpop as a concept ain't ever happening with the general public...

To me this era was too messy and it was a total flop. Applause was ok but not good enough for a first singe and the video was meh . Do what you want could have saved the era for her until she decided not to release a video for the track . Move on bitch just make a new album with catchy songs like the fame

A nr.1 album and two top 10 hits really is not a flop!

I think Act 2 would only benefit the album campaign,look how a re-release has helped Ellie Goulding for example.Halycon would have never came close to Lights' sales if it were not for the re-release and I think it could help Gaga in the same way...
