I think we need to have a thread on this GLORIOUS song! (Brought to mine and many others attentions through BJSC)

 

 

FACT: It's one of the rare moments where Tirren's Hyperbole is fully worthy! It's a TRUE *.* moment.

I loved her MelodiFestivalen song (My heart is refusing me) and this one is amazing too.

Overrated to the max. It's fine, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm starting to like this song more than My Heart Is Refusing Me, and I absolutely adored that one! I really hope what I read about a forthcoming EP is true, or that an album is now in the works!

What Jonjo said. I hate to inflate Ms. Reverie's ego even further but I have to agree that it really does live up to hyperbole (and then some) this time :wub:

I think this is an absolutely superb song. Absolutely flawless and most certainly worthy of all the hype. (Hype can put me off songs some of the time, but there's no way it's putting me off this time)

Sober is a bit of a mess all told. Far too much going on in the chorus, fairly cheap and tinny production job. The basics are there but it's a 7/10 sort of affair.

This song is decent, but it's so overrated by the BuzzJack members... It's not THAT brilliant..

I got the latest Absolute Dance album today and the mix of Sober on it is really rather nice. It's more along the lines of the single release, but more chilled out. If anyone wants it then let me know!

Acoustic version is beautiful!

 

Might as well post the song that kicked it all off for her seeing as it never had a thread of its own in the pop forum. Very much in the same vein as Sober so anybody that loves that will likely love this too if they're yet to hear it;

 

 

I like it but it was never one of my favourites from this year's Melodifestivalen admittedly, not quite sure why it never clicked with me like it probably should have done...I do prefer Sober but neither leave me hyperventilating. In the context of BJSC though, it's an extremely strong entry.

I really like My Heart Is Refusing Me, but I never quite got the mass love there seemed to be for it too. It's much better than Sober, but it's still got essentially the same flaws.

I hadn't heard 'My Heart Is Refusing Me' before. On one listen, I am now eagerly awaiting (and hoping for) more of her. :wub:

The productions isn't THAT much different to warrant a significant upgrade in comparison. If anything I'd have thought Sober more classy given it wears its classical influences quite openly with the intro...

 

They're both more similar than devoted adherents of either make out. Both pretty brilliant at the same time as well.
