I'm pretty sure i heard it on an advert on Sky 1 for some sports event or something... but not entirely sure. Kanye's whole album is a masterpiece, its a shame it severly underperformed in the UK :/

 

It's not a surprise though. Rap albums never do well in the UK really.

I agree that it's fantastic to see 'Power' back. It won't happen but I really hope it can somehow get a new peak out of this. Although at least it is a top 40 hit whereas the far superior 'Runaway' only got to #56 :(

All the rap albums do brilliantly in the US though, which is what really matters. I think probably because they all get so competitive about it. :lol:

I LOVE that song. :wub: If that's true though, I don't think it would have a huge effect on the chart, because everybody in the country (who's not just left the womb :lol:) knows the song so well already. The song won't be introduced to anybody who'd be watching the X Factor, since they'll all know it already.

Probably in my top 5 by the act, I doubt it will have an effect as, like many of the rumours, it was big enough at first. Plus 2Shoes aren't one of the favourites. I think a realtively unknown song would need to be sung by Amelia, Janet or maybe Frankie to have a big effect.

That doesn't really answer my question - this may just be some randomer who claims they're 'confirmed' when they're just rumours. The songlist shoudl be posted on the actual XF website later, I'd wait until then before commenting on song choices.

Not confirmed yet, but the site rufcforever are right most of the time, especially with song choices. They leaked the top 16 and had them all right except they only leaked that Johnny and Goldie went through to the overs and they had Melanie McCabe down for the girls, but Sophie Habibis went through. With song choices, they're very rarely wrong.

They weren't eligible to chart last year so I don't see why they would be this year.

The comments on the page obviously aren't confirmed, they are just site users.

Obviously, there's not really any way for me to prove to you how well-known the song is, but I'd be literally astounded if most people, even aged 10 didn't know the song.
