They'll need an old male judge to be the Simon Cowell, maybe Cliff Richard.

or maybe Robin Gibb

Tom Jones is surely a good bet for the old and grouchy one, possibly wishful thinking on my part to hope for Noel Gallagher. Liam would be a complete car crash, the Beeb wouldn't risk him.
The first part I'll just ignore as it's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but LOL at the rest of it. Just because she hasn't heard of PJ Harvey, doesn't mean she's not into music. What an ignorant and "music snob"ish view on things. If it wasn't for reading PJ's name a lot on this forum (although I don't think I've actually listened to any of her stuff) I don't think I (and I'm presuming it's the same for a few others on here) would have known who she is.

Posts like that annoy me. The whole "I know/like a certain musician so I'm better than you" attitude. She doesn't have/need to know who PJ Harvey is.

Gilmore Girls is the only reason I've heard of PJ Harvey before :kink:

Apparently the panel is Will.I.AM (ugh ugh ugh), Tom Jones (meh) and Will Young (alright I suppose). I love Jessie and Holly's a great presenter but consider me far less excited now

Tom Jones, bearable? He'd be the one I'm least interested in.

Will Young would be fine, I reckon he should know what he's doing, he's been around long enough and has been through a similar process. will.i.am has obviously had a lot of success with BEP and is a good producer, but I feel the BBC could do better. I mean, don't BEP use autotune a lot? This show is called 'The Voice'.

That's actually a decent panel, albeit a bit vanilla. Tom Jones is vastly experienced in the industry, Will Young is as close to a wise head as reality TV has produced so he's a logical choice and Will.I.Am should be... interesting :P
Awww, Tom and Will Y should be brilliant :D My faith is restored

will.i.am has been confirmed officially as the second judge.

Well, it's better than Jessie.

Hmm Will.i.Am has produced some brilliant songs, but The Voice is all about 'The Voice' surely it should be 4 great singers. I mean on the US version the 4 judges performed together live a few times, how will he do that?
I think will.i.am would be much better suited to The X Factor than The Voice for reasons already stated, but I am loving the addition of Jessie J and Tom Jones/Will Young rumours. Imo that's a much stronger panel than X Factor.
Hmm, will.i.am and (possibly) Tom Jones judging on the same show? That sounds interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about will.i.am being a judge/mentor though, surely all the judges should be from the UK seeing as it is the UK version of the show? Although I suppose only half of the XF judging panel are from the UK. I dunno, it just feels a bit wrong.

With copious amounts of autotune as per usual!

Danny from The Script and Tom Jones complete the the line up. Quite an eclectic panel, I reckon they're a good mix tbf!

Danny from The Script?! I love the guys but where did they pull that from?! I think he'll be good but thought the only other options were Will Young or Kaiser Chiefs Ricky Wilson? Random but I can get onboard with Danny, loving The Script's live DVD at the minute.

Tom Jones is good even though I'm not really interested in him, he's been in the industry a long time and should know what he's talking about. Danny from The Script is kind of the same, as a band they've sold songs & albums both in the UK and the US but I don't know if he's a big enough name, I never knew who the lead singer was. But I reckon they can get away with having one name that isn't as big, given the other three judges they have. Shame there's no Will Young though.
