I really liked the first show, however I definitely prefer the US version - something was just missing for me here... Much better than tired old BGT though!

Annoyed with myself for actually finding Jessie J and will.i.am funny at times.

That Come Together/Lose Yourself guy was so good.

The only one I really liked (ie I would 'turn around' for) was J Marie at the end tbh. And also the guy who did the mash-up too perhaps. Everyone was at least good though, even those who didn't get through.
My favourites were the girl who sang "Price Tag" and the guy that did a mash-up of "Come Together" and "Lose Yourself" - he, in particular, surprised me. His girlfriend on the other hand could've been so much better, had she not chosen THAT song. Ugh. I didn't particularly dislike anyone, but the act that I liked least was the guy who sang "Drops of Jupiter"...
Absolutely loved the Voice!! :D Great talent, great chemistry between the coaches and no joke acts! My favourite was the first girl who sang 'Price Tag' :D

Oh I certainly agree. I don't know what it is, I'm thinking it's the judges. Much better on the US and they have more chemistry. The contests on the UK version didn't seem as good either, the guy who did the Lose Myself mash-up was probably my favourite from tonight.

The only judge I really like is Tom Jones to be honest, I can't stand Danny jumping up and down pick me, pick me, pick me a real turn off, and Will i am bubbling and whining, Jessie J is alright. Its early days yet can't really judge it on the first show, hopefully the show will find its feel along the way.

And I agree with Theo the guy who did the mash up and the first girl Jessica were the best of the lot.

And Toni Warne won Opportunity Knocks at the age of 9

Yeah I think it could be the judges too. I absolutely love what Christina and Adam have going on, and Blake is HILARIOUS (and hot). I did find Jessie quite funny in parts and Will.I.AM was great which surprised me, but overall they didn't have the chemistry and thus there wasn't the banter that I love on the US version.

But despite that, I did very much enjoy it, it was great and definitely is ample to fill the void on a Saturday night!

The only thing I didn't like was how the commentary pretty much revealed what was going to happen next. For eg; the 27 year old who sang a Jessie J album track was being talked about before performing, and the emphasis was on Will.I.Am. not having anyone on his team. Who did she choose? Will.I.Am.!!! Quelle surprise. She was very good though.

I already think the winner will be in Jessie J's team. Just a gut instinct I have.

I really really enjoyed it, I haven't watched the US version so I can't really compare but I thought it was a hell of a lot better than the tired old BGT. My favourites were the guy who did the mashup and the girl who sang Mama Knows Best at the end, so good. I really love Jessie too, she's pretty funny.
They didn't effect the choosing though, which isn't as bad as X Factor.
Exactly. I think people are just quick to pick out something negative, just for the sake of it.

Really loved this. I think all the coaches are good. Tom Jones is a little boring, but nothing that makes me dislike him. (He can't be disliked when he was a little bit responsible for the brilliant 'Stoned In Love'!) Danny is fun and he's quite charming. Jessie is as good as I hoped she would be and Will was definitely the surprise for me! He's my favourite coach so far.

I also disagree with those who think the judges have no chemistry. Well, considering that this is the first audition thing (I assume) then they haven't really got to the point where the US coaches are just yet, but it's building nicely I thought. Especially Danny/Will, Jessie/Will and Jessie/Tom. Hopefully by the time the live shows come around they'll have gotten used to each other more and are more comfortable with each other.

My favourite was Jessica Hammond, Max Milner and J Marie. But I liked how everyone was somewhat decent and there weren't any terrible acts in there. The guy who sang 'Drops Of Jupiter' and Adam Isaac (was that the guy who was afraid of receiving a no?) were my least favourites. Shame really as 'Drops Of Jupiter' deserves another top 40 run! :( Ben Kelly was alright, but way too OTT.

Early predictions? I reckon it's between Max Milner and (unfortunately) Ben Kelly.

I really enjoyed the first episode, it's already than the Dutch version - no surprise there :P

I seriously loved all the judges. Jessie was amazing, as expected, and Will really surprised me. I never knew he was that funny. Tom and Danny were very good aswell. Tom really made me laugh.

Both girls who did Jessie J songs were great and I liked the guy who did the mash up. Ben Kelly was good aswell, but maybe a bit too much? He has a great voice though.

And I loved the woman who did Crazy.

Oh no!!! :o

She completely oversang most of the song to the point she was going almost a note off key to the music. I understand she'd be nervous/excited but I think it was Will who told her she has to contain herself otherwise it makes for quite an uncomfortable listening experience.

I thought it was alright. I shall be watching again. The cheesy banter from the judges made it rather amusing despite all being very predictable. Will.i.am actually having a personality was a surprise. The competition between the coaches is a bit MUCH at times, I didn't think it'd focus so heavily on that. Those are minor grumbles though really. I will persevere with it.

I know her performance wasn't the best, but I do think she has potential. And I just loved her personality, I know this is The Voice and it's all about that - the voice. But I couldn't help to root for her.

I think it's very much more "banter" between the coaches rather than rivalry - Danny and Will both shocked me; I expected them to be pretty dull, but both were very entertaining. Jessie J showed the better side of her personality, and Tom was very much the "experienced oldie" in terms of personality. I'd definitely say that they all have chemistry though!
I just watched this, and bar a few predictable moments (particularly the guy who admired Tom Jones, who really was awful  ), I thought it was pretty good, Max Miler, Ben Kelly and J Marie were the ones I liked the most from tonight, it was a good concept and it was refreshing to see genuine talent all round, I also thought the judges had great chemistry, all seemed to add something to the panel

The biggest surprise for me personally was Danny because he will have made a proper name for himself by the end of this series. Prior to yesterday he was just "the lead singer of The Script". He is clearly very enthusiastic about music - I was expecting him to be like Gary Barlow on The X Factor trying to be excited but still managing a monotone voice throughout.

Roll on the second episode. :D I also like how The Voice thread is 10 pages long so far whilst the Britain's Got Talent 2012 thread is only about 10 posts long!!! :D
