Pixie & Indie were really average, I'm know a female duo could have potential, but they were rather out of tune at some points  I wasn't convinced by Jazz's first performance, but the second one was excellent, Will definitely made the right choice there

I actually liked Jazz at the end but didn't agree with how his audition was played out. For me, the whole thing came across as staged leading me to believe that it actually was. Just think it showed a lot of bias towards Jazz (as good as he was). Why did his version almost send Will.I.Am. and Jessie J to tears yet the young girl who sang the song first didn't?
Watching her audition back, J Marie Cooper from the first show is my favourite for it. Great stage presence and a really flexible voice which should see her through the Battle Stage comfortably.

I really liked Pixie n Indie. Were off tune, but I don't know how I'd react if 4 people all turned round at the same time. Must make you let your game doing knowing you've not got to raise your game to get a vote.

Jazz at the end was fantastic. Ordinary People is one of my favourite songs, he just nailed it at the end. I wasn't too fussed about his A Team cover, but he just oozes soul. Probably not your contemporary pop artist.

I, too liked Pixie and Indie. I thought they were good, but they knew they lost it as soon as Jessie had turned around. But it's what this show is about, it's about seeing if the coaches can actually help them overcome things and help them improve and give them advice. Jessie has the best frame of mind for this show, I think. (Like last week when the coaches had no idea why she turned for one of them...)

My favourite was Becky though. She was brilliant and I preferred her version of 'Ordinary People' over Jazz's. (Although that was obviously good too, but I couldn't help but think we'd heard it all before - even his 'A Team' cover sounded exactly how I was expecting it to.) The second to last guy they were bigging up so much at the end wasn't anything particularly special either I thought. (Although again, he was good!)

Just seen this week's viewing figures for The Voice and BGT, and it's incredible for the voice.

The Voice

Average: 10.7m

Peak: 12m

BGT

Average: 10m

Peak: 11.3m

20 Minute Overlap figures: The Voice 11.8m vs. BGT 5.2m :o

That's a massive 6.6 million gap there :cheer:

Oh my god :o Can't believe they're pretty much thrashing BGT, but it's so tired so I can see why - the public clearly want something exciting, like The Voice!
It really is amazing for a show that is just 4 episodes old! I'm sure figures may peak over 13m for the Battles next week! :o
I tuned in for BGT for the first time this year after The Voice had finished. Watched 10 minutes of it and promptly switched off, I was never that much of a fan of it anyway but I couldn't care less about it now, not surprised to see it being thrashed ratings wise. I still love The X Factor mind, even though that's just as tired

I did the exact same thing...only weekend before last. :D

However, there was a young 16 year old girl on BGT last night who sang 'This Woman's Work' and I thought she had a great vocal style. Better than Pixie & Indie if we're going to compare young female singers on reality TV shows. What's surprised me this year with BGT (from what I've seen) is that even the footage from after the auditions seems really staged (ie; walking out of the building saying "OMG, that went really well"). They're not actors!!!

Simon Cowell and ITV's decision to do what they did in the scheduleing was idiot, disrespectful and ludacris. These guys are paid hundreds of thousands of pounds. I could have told them for free it was idiotic. The BBC had gone big on The Voice. They'd done their market research well by picking 4 judges that appeal to a range of people, and the formula has already been successful in many different countries. I'm not sure whether the BBC expected ratings like this (I definitely thought it would be 6-8m, not 10-12!) but what ITV did was just stupid. In the days of Sky+, ITV Player, TV On Demand etc. who in the right mind is going to watch an hour of one programme just so they can watch ITV with adverts live? Just plain arrogance from ITV and Simon Cowell. Luckily for them it's not taken them too long to realise they were losing the battle where it mattered. Obviously it's still a dominat ratings winner and will contine to be so for a while, but next year they won't schedule it near The Voice.
There's no clash next week with The Voice on at 7-8.30 on Saturday and BGT not starting til 8.30. Seems like they've already learned their lesson. Without the clash BGT's average might be higher again next week.

I suspect the advertisers had some influence over the decision. THey will obviously have been aware of the likelihood that many viewers will have been using catch-up devices to start watching BGT once The Voice had finished and that, therefore, they were not getting good value for their money. I'm just surprised that people whose job it is to predict that sort of behaviour failed so miserably. Surely even people without Sky+ or Tivo would probably just switch over at 8.20 and watch the first twenty minutes later (without the adverts and the pointless shots of the judges getting out of cars). After all, it doesn't exactly matter much if you see the acts in a different order.

Also

Joelle vs. Leanne is laughable

Looking at those pairings it looks like the SPOILER that

(Don't read if you don't want to know a potential battle winner!)

It's true.

I've seen some of the final people and all I can say is you're all gonna be mad. Do wonder what the judges are smoking, one judge in particular imo has show themselves in the foot. You dunno though do ya, they see more than us.

Thought it might be, but that's what happens when you put 2 of your best acts in a battle together. I'm majorly worried for

Kate as she has been tweeting about going back for a dance class at college - surely she wouldn't be doing that if she was still in? She is my total favourite!! :(. Also, I think Ruth Ann St. Luce got through too because she was against Indie & Pixie - so not really much competition!

WE'VE JUST HIT 60,000 LIKES!! To celebrate, some BREAKING NEWS - Lana Del Rey will be performing at the first results show of the lives on Sunday 29 April!
