That was different from her audition track and last week's I don't think Frances was comfortable singing that track.

Adam, hmm... a bit of a mess, I can see him leaving tomorrow

I think Adam is decent but I didn't like his vocals in the chorus to 'All My Life'. I wanted more "growl" in his voice but it ended up sounding more choirboy with a deep voice. The verses sounded much better.

After the first quarter;

 

01 Joelle Moses - I'm Going Down / Not her best, but I love her voice, think she's got a really lovely tone - and she sung that really well.

02 Jaz Ellington - At Last / Think he is a bit overrated by the judges, but as with the above, I really like his tone, it's very soft and silky. And, that was done almost effortlessly, good job.

03 Frances Wood - Ain't Nobody / I'm really enjoying watching her grow throughout the show, I thought she was decent in the audition, but she's getting better and more confident throughout, and she did a good job of that with an interesting arrangement.

04 Sam Buttery - A Little Respect / Really don't like this guy, I just think he sounds too desperate vocally, like he's pushing every word out, and it's uncomfortable to watch and listen. Not bad though.

05 Adam Isaac - All My Life / I like this guy, his audition was one of my favourites. And, I liked that song choice, but I felt he really struggled, and his voice cracking at some of the more strenuous points of the song.

Woah! Leanne was fantastic, definitely my favorite so far!

Leanne, sounding more like cruise ship entertainment, I just found that track lack something, more of a country version of Who Knew.

 

Sophie, I prefer the act that she won over last week, a difficult track to sing, she could have done better with a pop track.

Not keen on this couple at all. The first verse of 'Go Your Own Way' sounded quite shaky and I couldn't tell if they were hitting bum notes, or if that is how they intended on singing the song. It got better after the first chorus. Kudos to them for not performing the Lissie version.

Matt & SueLeen, not really keen on them to me it sounded more of a cruise ship performance, I wouldn't be surprised they could be going tomorrow.

Ruth = Winner :D

 

Even though she tends to rush herself making it difficult for the band to keep up, there is so much emotion in her voice it really is something incredible. I really think we've found a true star in Ruth.

Just listening to the recaps again how much does Francis sound like Cher Lloyd? I didn't really pick up on this before.

Tyler, great version of Higher Love, hopefully he will continue to grow.

 

Ruth, wow, gave me goosebumps listening to that, a great track to cover, that was an amazing performance to end the show with. I hope she goes on to win the show.

Probably because the results show *might* be pre-recorded and they will actually be filming the results later tonight whilst everyone is still in the studio. Notice if they're wearing the same clothes tomorrow night. ;) (ok, they could technically be wearing a duplicate outfit but it's quite unlikely really :D ). Then again they could all get changed in the next 35 minutes and record the results after that. We would never know. :o

My christ Ruth was AMAZING. I thought Joelle was something but Ruth is just utterly world class, she has to win.

First time watching this and I really wasn't that impressed.

At least there aren't really any novelty acts I suppose, but no-one stood out except Ruth.

 

That Adam guy was horrendous!

They pre-record the results for Strictly too, and then who goes usually leaks. I hope that doesn't happen with this, but what can you do?

Well I'm probably aligning myself with someone who'll probably leave very early on with but Frances was amazing SO THERE!

Tyler was also surprisingly good.

 

Adam and Sam were just boring and Jaz is overrated. I did still like Sophie though, it wasn't the strongest performance but what she did in the second half was brilliant, saved the performance by being a little more innovative and quirky.
