January 9, 201213 yr I agree with Robot about the running order, Loreen and Danny were always going straight to Globen regardless of their slot, and I don't think that an amazing song will crash out just because it's performed ten minutes earlier! People can use past statistics to try to prove that songs that perform later on in MF do better but it's usually huge stars who get the pimp slots anyway, so not exactly a fair test. Put four unknowns on last and the big stars second or third and watch those statistics change!

January 9, 201213 yr I haven't really followed Melodifestivalen before, so do we get to hear the songs before they are performed in their semis, or will the first time we hear them be in Melodifestivalen itself?
January 9, 201213 yr From what I remember from the last two years (since I started following) we usually get a 30 second or a minute clip of a Practice Performance a week before they actually perform.
January 10, 201213 yr We'll get full songs at least a few hours before the performances. That was only last year, the amount they tend to change year-on-year means I wouldn't take that as a given. Also, given there are only eight songs in each heat I doubt the running order makes much difference, short of the track at the end getting a slight advantage from the pimp slot. I'd say the running order has maybe a slight impact in the final, but nothing on the level of the impact it has at Eurovision itself.
