Posted October 6, 201113 yr UknZiaIC9y8 Dunno what to think yet. Not a bad track but I feel the video is not very Tinchy. LOL Produced by Calvin Harris. Hmm... if 'We Found Love' wasn't enough for Calvin I'm guessing. LOL Edited October 31, 201113 yr by FM11
October 6, 201113 yr I quite like it. Could be a hit for him. You know it wouldn't surprise me if he got an X Factor performance.. Calvin Harris is a popular producer at the moment aswell. He's gonna be even more popular now Rihanna's doing well in the US with his track. He's quite picky though with which artists he produces for mind.

It wouldn't surprise me either, as he is on Gary Barlow's CIN group The Collective. I don't think he would perform on his own however with this song, Simon Cowell doesn't like UK rap artists (Cher Lloyd is NOT rap) Edited October 6, 201113 yr by danielXF
October 6, 201113 yr Has Simon Cowell ever actually said he doesn't like UK rappers, or are we assuming this based off the fact that he never has any perform (although he did have Dizzee Rascal once)?
October 8, 201113 yr Has Simon Cowell ever actually said he doesn't like UK rappers, or are we assuming this based off the fact that he never has any perform (although he did have Dizzee Rascal once)? The bolded, I don't think he's said himself but as every contestant and every guest have "sung" (except Cher Lloyd & Mischa Bryan who did singing and rapping, and The BEPs who did TT(DB) last year on the show) I guess Simon doesn't want acts like Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah or even Jay-Z on his stage :( The good thing is he loves Rihanna, will.i.am and GaGa so hopefully they all get to perform Edited October 8, 201113 yr by danielXF
October 13, 201113 yr Interesting how they've now decided to give Calvin a featured credit on this - it's almost as if they thought it'd flop if it didn't have some star power 'collaboration' Edited October 13, 201113 yr by Bré
October 13, 201113 yr Author Funny how Calvin is now actually "featured" in this. I guess is to make the song a little more popular.

October 30, 201113 yr He's performing this on The Xtra Factor right now. It's actually an alright song. Better than that 'Spaceship' mess anyway, but it doesn't really touch 'Take Me Back'... Looking back at his discography though, it's very weak anyway - I have no idea how he was so huge in 2009.
October 30, 201113 yr ^ I agree that it's better than Spaceship. I actually really like this. The bridge particularly, I think the beat in that section is so amazing. One thing that surprises me about 2009 was that Number 1 sold more than Bonkers. Both songs were massive, obviously, but Bonkers seemed like the much bigger hit to me! :o Tinchy's success in 2009, I think was largely just down to how fresh the sound of his three big hits that year was. But I think people started getting bored of it by 2010 (hence the major floppage we saw from Second Chance). Never Leave You was personally my 2nd favourite song from 2009.
