E.T. entered the top 100 at #89, but if you want to be even more restrictive of what counts as an official debut and limit it to the top 75, yes, all of her singles from TD have gone straight into the top 40. CG and TD obviously at #1 and #2 respectively, Firework at #5, E.T. at #29 and LFN(T.G.I.F.) at #24.

The video for Katy's song has been filmed. I saw a link about it on MSN earlier. No idea when it will premiere though.

That hideous bint who covered The Calling needs to go away instantly! I can't stand Alex Band's voice on a general scale but the original of 'Wherever You Will Go' is an exception.

bad meets evil free falling.....hope paradise gets a video before the album release then it will go top 10 easily enough.....the wanteds cd sales may make the difference!!

The Wanted have now increased to 18% behind Rihanna, I am really not sure who will get number one this week. I really hope Kelly Clarkson manages to debut in the top 5 this week, she deserves a hit and I am delighted she's performing on the Xfactor, I hope she performs on other daytime shows also.

15. Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had

17. Matt Cardle - Run For Your Life

19. Lana Del Rey - Video Games

26. Katy Perry - The One That Got Away.

45. Sean Paul & Alexis Jordan - Got 2 Luv U (Climbing Fast Now)

46. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

59. Daniel Merriweather - Red

69. Beyonce - Countdown.

81. Joe Jonas - Just In Love (Another Flop For Joe Jonas despite being supported by Radio 1)

93. Leona Lewis - Collide

There are also three versions of The Calling - Wherever You Will Go, Combined it's #11.

TO BE FAIR, Eminem not exactly a stranger to free-falling. And I'm sure Royce is more than happy that he's actually written a rap that has received radio airplay.

I think Rihanna and Calvin could get a 3rd week at #1! :o

Does Maroon 5 still stand a chance for #1 sometime? If they increased significantly then would they give Rihanna/The Wanted a run for #1 I wonder.
the chart is so exciting at this time of year...who would have thought riri could have a chance of 3 weeks at the top with this so soon and the lack of promo and with so many other things happening in the chart namely xfactor and big releases from boybands.....role on november is all i can say!!

I would surely say her stay in the UK, her controversy while shooting the We Found Love video, the riding on the Metro public and the tour she has in the UK is quite some promotion there..

seeing rihanna in the papers doesnt really make me want to buy her single although i understand that her tour would convince people to get it.....

It's not making people wanting to buy it but rather grasp the attention of the public. She had quite a bit of controversy in Northern Ireland when shooting the We Found Love video, this would make the public aware that the song would probably be out for sale soon hence why she's shooting the video and then obviously the tour helped.

Hype + Attention = Sales in most cases.

Not to mention the UK probably likes the song hence why it's doing well even though with the second week selling 100k+ with no video whatsoever whereas Lady Gaga's Born This Way did not achieve that.

01. Rihanna & Calvin Harris - We Found Love 100%

02. The Wanted - Lightning 84.2% (I Just Don't Think Wanted will get number one as they're frontloaded, It all depends when Rihanna releases the video for We Found Love)

03. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger 75.1%

04. Charlene Soraia - Wherever You Will Go 70%

06. Kelly Clarkson - Mr Know It All (Only 3% ahead of Jar Of Hearts and 6% behind Gym Class Heroes, I predict it will debut at around #08 this week)

43. Sean Paul & Alexis Jordan - Got 2 Luv U

43. Sean Paul & Alexis Jordan - Got 2 Luv U

This needs to be doing better. I was looking forward to Sean Paul being relevant again.

The Scientist down one to #65 but only because it's been overtaken by Red (up to #62).

 58. Red - Daniel Merriweather

 61. The Scientist - Coldplay

Really surprised 'The Scientist' is still climbing. It's overtaken 'Fix You' (#64) now.

Me too. Especially since people on here keep going "lol. Nobody remembers Sean Paul" or "Remember Sean Paul? Didn't think so. I wonder where he is now". Hearing things like that once a week was getting a BIT ANNOYING. Especially since Sean Paul IS very remembered, and is one of the iconic artists of my life time, and he had a hit in 2010 anyway.

Good point about Rihanna and being in the news a lot. I think it does help sales tbh. People like Chris Brown and Jessie J were in the news a lot at the beginning of this year aswell, which I think helped their sales. And it reminds me of Lady Gaga in early 2009, she was in the news every day for some reason.

Soundtrack to Struggle at #643! :o I know this is kinda sad, but his success makes me so happy tbh.

The Coldplay album has leaked 1 day before release (Japan...), (and I want to dieeeeeeeeee, it's amazing)

and they announced right now that the Paradise Video comes this week... I wish the next and it would go top 10!
