The second one will feature the same Avengers? Oh. :( Bit disappointed by the sound of that. I would have liked them to introduce some more Avengers in time for the second Avengers film. (Mainly a reboot of 'Fantastic 4'!)

i imagine they'll include some more but probably still focus on the main ones. Thor, Iron Man and Captain America have always been the core avengers really and are the big names so they'll always have the spotlight. There is going to be a reboot of Fantastic Four but not by Marvel Studios so you'll see no connection to the Avengers as Fox still owe the rights, although the F4 are a seperate team so I doubt you'd see them in an Avengers film anyway. Marvel are still meant to be making an Antman film eventually so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the next Avengers.

I'm going to see it on Friday (as I'm working all day Thursday) but I'm so excited, my most anticipated movie of the year (along with The Hobbit) I have incredibly high expectations!

Antman? Eurgh, no thanks :( I wanna see a Captain Marvel (and Ms Marvel) film.

Ant-Man has already been given a transmission date for 16 May 2014, probably to tie in with Avengers Assemble 2 (2015)

These are the transmission dates been given for

Iron Man 3 - 3 May 2013

Thor 2 - 15 November 2013

Captain America 2 - 4 April 2014

Ant-Man - 16 May 2014

Also Superman: Man Of Steel 14 June 2013 (single this one out from the above. [DC Comics])

Antman is written by Edgar Wright so it will be amazing. I can't imagine a Captain Marvel film being too great, no where near popular enough either.

Amazing... totally blew me away from start to finish, some great comedy moments, for me the Hulk stole the show in the end. Overall I totally recommend it.

Joss was certainly the right person to do this. I really really really hope he is in charge of the sequel.

HOLY SHITBALLS.

HOLY.

SHIT.

BALLS.

that was immense.

thank f*** they got Joss Whedon to do this. This is what all superhero films aim to be and normally utterly failed. Incredible rollercoaster that never dumbs down and never calms down has a great script (Stark was on top form), barely stops on the action. Brain overload if anything.

I'm slightly geeking at the post-credits scene too but only hardcore marvel geeks will know who that was (not going to say anything more as don't want to spoil for others).

BUT f***. Hope this makes them shitloads, I hate over the top hollywood blockbusters, but this was a whole different level.

I went to see this with a Marvel geek who also went batshit crazy at the post-credits scene.

I know very little about the Marvel universe and I intend to keep it that way. I find that I am really enjoying these films as I have no idea of what to expect next. It's all new to me and I quite like that.

thats a pretty good way to watch these films really, not knowing what to expect, but then for the geeks they have something to go crazy excited over. can't wait to see how the next films pan out to lead to Avengers 2. really really hope Whedon does Avengers 2 too.

can't see myself not going to see this again in a few weeks. unless it happened to leak online. I want to watch it again right now and I was still in the cinema an hour ago.

I really can't add much to what has already been said! It's going to be hard to beat this as my favourite film of the year. It's easily the best superhero movie out there I reckon. (Yes even beating 'The Dark Knight'!) None of the characters got too much of the screen time, and they all seemed to get pretty much the same amount. Mark Ruffalo was superb as the incredible hulk! Robert Downey Jr. was the best I've seen him in this too! AGH! I can't stop buzzing about it! Deifinitely seeing it again at some point, maybe even tomorrow!

I'm 100% with you.
Just got back from the Cinema, it was absolutely fantastic, one of my best films ever already. I will 100% be going back to the cinema to see it again. Roll on 2015 for the next instalment!

This did £15 million last night in the UK alone. Once this opens in America it's going to make f*** loads.

It's been over 25 hours since I saw it now and I'm still thinking about it, likely to see it again within the next week it was that good.

£15 million in the UK alone in one night?! JEEEEEEEZUZ! Fully deserved though!

Saw it again tonight! (Yay for free tickets etc..) Just as amazing as the first time I watched it. I am yet to hear someone say they didn't enjoy it or thought it was average! It's the ultimate superhero movie for me. Just sublime. Scarlet Johansson & Cobie Smulders are both ridiculously hot in it!

Saw this yesterday. I kind of dozed off in the first third (I got back at 4am last night), luckily woke up when Thor came on  Good film, but I think the original Iron Man and Thor were better.

SUPERHOTTIE RANKING:

1. Thor (the arms *.*)

2. Hawkeye (yes really)

3. Captain America (just cos he's really hot when he's not Captain America)

4. Iron Man (RDJ's looking really old now, bless him :()

5. The Hulk (though at least we know Mark Ruffalo's not dead now)

ditto, this one film I'm going to see again, probably towards the end of its natural run, and it be just a matter of weeks before the DVD comes out soon after. Hopefully with loads of extras.

I'm seeing lots of people saying they want to see it again, it certainly has that effect. I'm still thinking about it loads, i'll probably see it again in like a week or two then hold out for the blu ray.

So glad how great this movie was and how great the response is. A win for comic book movies.

Seeing this tomorrow :w00t: much exitement.

I wonder if a Justice League movie would work, there was talk of one.

Personally I only think this works so well because of Joss Whedon so a Justice Leauge would need some equally as awesome at the helm but personally, don't think it would work, depends if they linked the current batman universe or not. also depends on who owns what characters, all the same studio would need to own the rights to all the characters etc.
