I don't HATE Kiss Kiss, it's rather good, but it's definitely my least favourite of the lot here. Just goes nowhere.

 

The inoffensive songs are lasting quite a while here, I've noticed. Guess that's what negative voting does.

It was moreso seeing votes against 'Bad Romance' and 'Toxic'. :D Compared to what else is in this poll, those two are surely two of the best pop songs featured. I would be AGOG if these two went out in the early stages of this contest. I bet if we voted for who we liked instead, we'd get a very different set of results.

Bad Romance will win either way really, but some of the results would be different (like Dakota, Crazy and Feel Good would all done a lot better I think).

 

I think Toxic is good, but Bad Romance is really boring.

 

But I'm personally voting for Poker Face. :coffee:

 

Although I'm king of thinking of switching to Bad Romance since it gets more votes each time, and actually has a vague chance at going sometime soon, and it's basically the same song as Poker Face anyway.

Definitely, especially seeing more votes for Bad Romance than Poker Face. I don't think many people would say that Poker Face >> Bad Romance. It looks like a backlash against Bad Romance winning these things all the time.

 

All the things like Atomic Kitten, Holly Vallance, Liberty X, Nelly Furtado (Maneater excepted), Sonique, Paparazzi, they're just not the sort of songs you hate. So no votes, especially in a competition where the quality is as tight as this. I'm almost considering changing my vote to I'm Like A Bird or Beautiful or something, because it's so close between that and Kiss Kiss, and I've made it look like I really hate the latter, which I don't. But then I'd like to stick to my guns as well.

 

As an aside, not pleased seeing Shapeshifters gone. I shall continue to say this every round. Probably even the round Kiss Kiss goes. :lol:

but both of them are hugely overrated and average in my (and some other smart people's) opinion. it's perfectly rational. :P

"Bad Romance" - it really is a terrible song. Just search for the lyrics online if you need confirmation.

 

It's also probably Gaga's worst vocal performance
