er, I'm no Gaga stan, but Bad Romance DEFINITELY should have stayed in longer :mellow: bloody hell, and it looks like Poker Face going this round :o ouch!

If there is tactical voting and people want gaga to do better i suggest they also vote tactically, i.e the next song with the most votes. which currently is sonique.....

Something strange is def going on here. Gaga barely got any votes in previous games, now all of a sudden her songs are being votes out one after the other. Is there any way e can check if people are opening multiple account to vote, just to get Gaga out.

I'm not saying 'Bad Romance' was the best song in the contest - there are quite a few imo excellent tracks that made it this far.

 

However, I do believe the following speaks volumes:

 

Round 39 - Lady GaGa - Poker Face - 77%

Round 40 - Lady GaGa - Bad Romance - 23% (Winner)

 

How a song can win the 2009 round so easily yet end up going before songs that didn't get anywhere near as many votes in each of the yearly polls is questionable.

 

Either that or people are voting for their faves and not bothering to read the poll question properly. ** shrugs **

i expected it wasn't someone creating multiple accounts. what i would look at is any songs that get no votes then the next round get a ridiculous amount. would suggest block voting to me (i.e. people being sad enough to use msn/facebook chat to chose collectively songs to vote for)

Noone is saying that but it does look VERY suspicious when one of the biggest winners by far in any of the games goes so early, then the 2 fav goes just after it.

You can only check the ip addresses that have cast a vote. I can look at posts made and members signed up with those but looking at the first 4 results two don't bring up anything, which means that whoever has used them has neither made a post or signed up when they were using that address.

do we know what the results would look like if those votes were taken out?
