It's not awful but nothing about it particularly grabbed me (not even the chorus). I'll probably never hear it again so I'm just going to let it pass me by completely.

Danza Kuduro? for real? this song is old

Yes, but this is the UK.

Plus, I doubt it's as old as that Katy Perry song in the top 20 atm.

It's from August 2010, so more or less...

Wow! :o

That's really old, even by our standards.

I think Alors on danse came out late 2009, but only got popular in the UK in like August 2010 or something. I thought that was bad!

Xmas song update :

I notice both the Pogues, and Mariah Carey have made brief forays into the T1000 this week. Today the Pogues are #871 & Mariah #894.

Would it be worth starting a specific thread for Xmas entries, or will mentioning them here be sufficient?

Oh, Mariah probably will be higher than The Pogues for a while again. Meh, she always is but The Pogues always overtake.

Last year The Pogues entered the top 100 on the equivalent of 3 weeks from Sunday (and they had 7 weeks top 100 before dropping out, which was actually a better showing than 2009 when they only had 6 - they had 7 within the year but one carried over from 2008). Hopefully they'll do similarly this year.

Although I'm not sure how Christmas Day being on a Sunday this year will affect that - I have a feeling the Xmas songs may drop out a week earlier this year as I'm sure there will be far fewer people buying from 25-31 Dec than there are from 18-24 Dec.

After "Glad You Came" was a genuinely big #1, I thought The Wanted would really trump their last era with this album but maybe not if "Lightning" looks like only reaching #2 as "Heart Vacancy" did. Still, I can see it hanging around quite a bit longer and the album should sell better this time around. Not bad to have five top 5 hits (albeit with two of them hopelessly frontloaded, but you could say the same when someone mentions how many #1s Dizzee Rascal has had) in little over a year, and in the old days of post-album tracks not climbing to their peak "Lose My Mind" could have gone top 10 as well.

I'm actually enjoying the Japanese album a lot more than the US album... The Boys is the best song of the album by a mile.

Thrilled to see Beyonce and Laidback Luke / Example just outside the T40 - I'm hoping the latter can sneak into the T40 this week, while the former deserves to be a big hit in the UK - 'Best Thing I Never Had' should not be the only success on the album.

As for J. Bieber - it's great to see him falling - the thought of releasing a Christmas single already is a little bit sickening; should at least wait until after Halloween to do such a thing.

Lana del Ray or Sean Paul / Alexis Jordan for the T10 on Sunday - who do we reckon will get it?

44. Florence and the Machine 'Shake It Out'

45. The Saturdays 'All Fired Up'

90. Joe Jonas 'Just in Love'
