I hope she does sing "Shake it out", the song has to be a hit somehow.

Oh right, so maybe they changed their mind as Shake It Out is doing a bit better now, so should go top 10 surely with an X Factor performance, will do wonders for the album as well.

'Shake It Out' is already T40 though - so to ensure 'No Light, No Light' is T40 too, it'd be best for her to perform it - that way 'Shake It Out', 'No Light, No Light' and Ceremonials itself will all experience a little boost.

 

I'd love to see 'Shake It Out' performed though - it's an epic song that deserves recognition (it's #9 in Ireland!)

I'm guessing after its inevitable usage during The X Factor ad breaks, it'll shoot up. But I have to say that Cinnamon Girl doesn't sound as catchy as Charlene Soraia.

Just downloaded it, it's an interesting take on the song, progresses from a ballad to a sort of Ryan Tedder-lite production after the first verse. Obviously has nothing on the original but it's pleasant and (will be) nice to see my all time favourite song back in the public eye!

I'm not that interested in this new version of SYF :( Original's much better - dance songs >>> ballads. I have this random mix of SYF from "The Annual 2002" on iTunes :lol: so I should really get the original if it's about to become popular :wub:

I would absolutely love it if Rihanna held JLS off the top spot next weekend. It won't happen but I'd like it to.

Surely there's a possibility that one of the artists will perform the track on X-Factor this week? The theme is 'club classics' and the original by N-Trance is certainly a club classic. They could always perform the ballad version though, as technically it's still the same club classic.
